You know what I've noticed and they've always done this, but it should be clarified, that they spliced most of the footage, just to get out-of-context clips to make Mueller look good. I say this because tonight, Chris Cuomo was gloating about they had irrefutable evidence that the Russian collusion did indeed occur, but they weren't showing it. 2 years in, and they're still hyping the so-called irrefutable evidence, even though the report concluded that they had found nothing to do with collusion and that Robert Mueller couldn't exonerate the president because that's not in his position. This is a perfect tool for propaganda and sensationalism on CNN's part, because the average primetime viewer probably didn't see the Hearing. The hearing happened quite early in the morning. They had full hours to pretty much splice up the footage to make up a narrative that they could sell to their audience, giving the false idea that the media accurately summed up what went down within the Hearing. No matter how wrong is it, the person watching their news show would feel satisfied without watching the full Hearing anyways because they think the news is doing their job when that could often be a 50/50 toss-up. No one is curious enough to find out because the news delivers this sense of aura that the information they have is right and is the only right information and that you're the smart ones for knowing it. And I think Chris Cuomo is a great example of this because of the way he executes his show. Ever since he got his show in 2017, he's always been pushing the idea of "facts". These are the "facts". If you did a drinking game of his show, you would fucking die of alcohol poisoning for how many times he says that. Careful wording, despite the fact that Cuomo has been proven to often get his "facts" from very biased sources, and always has been. You hear this word so much on CNN as a way for them to desperately convince their audience that they are real news, but Chris Cuomo seems to obsess over this idea, and repeats it, so much that it gets ingrained to your head, that these facts that the man at the table on the TV is presenting you are the true facts when you may not know whether or not that is true unless it's through hearsay. And I find it interesting that Cuomo Primetime is indeed the highest-rated show on CNN (if that means anything) because the way his show is advertised as being (all facts) or whatever, means that this type of campaign is successful, and he successfully sells his audience every weekday on taking Tramp's words out of context as well as delivering the lie of the Russian collusion conspiracy, as well as his other feelings on political issues, especially in terms of his feelings on ANTIFA. He's probably worse than Don Lemon in this regard, since he seems smarter and better at marketing, especially considering that Don has the lowest-rated show of the night if you average out his two hours.
That's fucked up, man. Journalism seems to have always been about not just the manipulation of information, but making sure one receives that information in the way that they want the person to percieve it.. I could go deeper into how developmentally, a person is taught not to think on their own at a young age, but I wouldn't want to come off as a tinfoil hat person. Holy fuck, that's messed up.
