Can someone give a TLDR on who the fuck Fantasysoft is and why we should give 2 shits? Can’t tell the payers without a scorecard.
I think they design faggot as fuck body pillows, some being for furry femcels or the usual fags on top of it, also what the fuck, too much shit happens and I miss it.

I think they're a company looking to make games and cartoons based on some anthro animals set in some sort of stereotypical shounen universe. All I know is they gave Vic a job after all this shit started and it's now bit them in the ass.

Fantasysoft are the guys who tweeted out shortly after Funimation publicly fired Vic that "We believe in due process for ALL our employees, and until they get their day in court, we will continue to support them no matter what" and continued to aggressively market their weird furry anime with the fact that Vic is voicing one of the main characters in it. They also seem to market stuff to the conservative/christian sect of the fandom?

They're furries, but I guess you could say they're kind of wholesome furries.

ETA: they employ Vic, Todd, and Chuck. They're very ISWV.

Some pro-Trump pro-NASCAR people with thousands of twitter followers are backing up Vic. No idea who they are but it'll be extremely entertaining if MAGA twitter gets involved.

*smuggly chuckles* I think we can get Donald Trump to tweet about Vic Mignogna.

"According to her" is the key there. Lauren is a liar and shit-stirrer. She feeds off attention and the dopamine rush of feeling like she's anything but a fat cow who somehow fucked up her life despite having every advantage in the world. She's not some brilliant, paid mastermind; she's just another bored white girl who never grew out of her bitchy high school phase.
IIRC the exact phrasing she used was that she “worked” for the RNC as a troll, I don’t think she mentioned being paid for it. There is a photo out there of her as a member of the young republicans in either high school or early college.
Both parties often recruit members of their young party clubs as disposable and deniable assets for their dirty tricks teams. Mostly because they will work for good boy points. No money trail, harder to track, easier to deny.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ren was working for the RNC, but she probably wasn’t getting paid for it.

I'd really rather not have this get mainstream. Places like CNN are way better at spinning lies and covering their tracks than ANN, and if they go running with it, Vic's reputation is going to be wrecked way harder than it is now. Nobody reads ANN and decides whatever it says is the truth, because nobody reads ANN. There are still plenty of people out there who will believe that CNN must be right that a dude is a mass rapist murderer because Trump tweeted 'I like his hair'.

True this. Consider how CBS chose to portray those chucklefucks at Oberlin College that tried to slag a small bakery that has been family run since the 19th century.

The only form of national attention Id like this case to get would be from law enforcement. With any luck some additional chats/discord/emails will come out showing some of these dipshits communicating and conspiring on what to say in their falsified affidavits that go across state lines.

The last thing that would aid this situation would be the MSM becoming aware. Do you want to see Marchi or Rial on Colbert channeling her inner Sarkeesian? You want Rachel Madow or Don Lemon doing some dead-eyed monologue about animu incels attacking women? There would be no control over narrative or information for Vic's side, as almost all the media would default to being his opponent.

For some reason, I find this Fantasysoft affair suspicious and would certainly not give them a dollar unless they can show some evidence showing the financial effect of losing that one backer. ISWVers are throwing pretty impressive lumps of cash at anyone who KV atttacks in any way, shape or form right now and I'm sure there's lots of people out there who have noticed this and want in on the action. I don't know, it all just seems a tad grifty.

It's possible, but they also publicly supported Vic when no one else did. They didn't just pop up with their hand out now, they've been around. People just haven't spoken much about them, because 1- furries and 2- Nick showed up not long after. Until the lawsuit happened, though, they were arguably the most effective support Vic received, as likes and retweets are nice but they don't pay the bills like giving him a voice acting job.

It certainly has potential for abuse. But the iswv side at least kind of polices its own. They all disavowed perfection real quick. If one of them got pimpy with begging I think theyre more likely to call bullshit on their own than kv is.

Doesn't Ron flex his Audi?
You mean Vic's audi?

I doubt they'll get involved. The mainstream media really doesn't give two shits about Vietnamese moving drawings and generally seems to avoid it. Like most countries, the US population doesn't care quite as much about things that aren't from here in a general sense, and the loony left doesn't fetishize Japan like they do with other ethnic groups. They're just not brown enough.

However, I think it's getting to a point where it might not matter because it's going to be too hard to spin unless you take the law twitter approach of completely burying your head in the sand. If BHBH does have some key affidavits that torpedo some of the testimony from the defendants or even just outright exposes their tortious interference then they aren't going to want to pick up a lost cause. The last thing they would want is another #metoo story that explodes in their face and turns out to be bullshit. Far better to sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened.

While I absolutely agree that I doubt they'd get involved barring some bizarre happenstance, (like Trump tweeting about this) if in the slim chance they do, I do not doubt that they would run the story into the ground. They haven't learned a thing from Kavanaugh or the Covington kid.

And the thing that would bring them in wouldn't be the threat to Japanese cartoons, but the attack on brave women feminists and the accusations of homophobia et al. They would get Gamergate 2: Electric Boogaloo of angry white men incels attacking diversity, spearheaded by a "#Blackfacelawyer."
