As funny as that would be, if Nick is at all accurate in his assessment that's more what happens for perjury in criminal cases. But then again, if there's one thing Nick has consistently gotten wrong, it's that he underestimates just how batshit insane things get.

Well, I was wrong on the shape of the sticker, but that's pretty much what I would've expected. CLAMP was arguably at their absolute peak of popularity in the U.S. at that time.

I think it would pretty much have to be perjury on the level of "this is an insult to the intelligence of the court and everyone in the jury" for criminal charges to be pursued. Which, considering Toye's behavior in deposition, I'd give at least a 40% chance.

That just means you lose your case, usually. Perjury is usually only prosecuted if your cheating actually won you the case and you can't be punished there.

I was going for a joke where they were so actively offended by his perjury that they went after him anyway. I know it doesn't really work that way.

That said, his depo demonstrated he can't lie for shit, so I can only imagine the dread the superlawyer squad has about him being on the stand.

Cool story but Schemmel is still a piece of shit for what he said to Kirby Morrow and when they disinvited that other actor. Morrow has been acting for years plus he studied drama. Schemmel ain't got nothing on that except being a flop musician with a shity haircut.

That was many, many years ago. Before the dyed hair. Before Twitter. Before the Soye. Before 2016 TDS. Before SJWs. Most of these people (however talent-less you want to argue) were probably just slightly cunty-of-center quasi-nerds 15+ years ago. Maybe seeing movies like Akira in theaters back in the day and getting interested in anime.. 15+ years later however, is all it takes to change a bright-eyed 26 year old Rial into a post-menopausal troll at 43.

If the last six months of shenanigans hadn't given it away, maybe it's because she is exceptional.
