Well impeach him, then. If you genuinely believe that and you refuse to vote for impeachment then that's a dereliction of duty and you should step down. Democrats in the House had an opportunity to finally lay down a vote for impeachment proceedings not even a week ago in order to "save the Constitution" and most them refused to vote for it, so what's the deal? If he's so fucking dangerous then why aren't you stopping him? You can't have it both ways, you can't have all of this rapidly-mounting outrage and then refuse to do anything about it once the line is drawn.
People are starting to notice the discrepancy, Pelosi.

And that's coming from a 2020 (D) candidate and one of the people chiefly responsible for helping make the public aware of the Pentagon Papers, no less. I still can't believe they qualified him for the debates but then pulled in that loser Delaney that no one has ever fucking heard of and probably don't even remember anymore because they're already playing games. Gravel's not digging into social justice horseshit nor is he trying to cater to illegal voters, though, so he never had a prayer.

Trump needs to. and is going to. win next year because the only agenda the Dems would have once in power is revenge.
Well truth be told that's been their agenda ever since 2000 but this time it would worse than anything we've seen before.
You've seen what they've done when reduced to a relatively powerless position, Covington, Kavanaugh, Muller, Antifa, all done against those who they declare to be "Bad People".
Now imagine what they would do given the reigns of power back...
I don't need to tell you why giving power to a bunch of vengeful egotistical sociopaths who see themselves in sinful fallen world that it's their duty to "redeem" is a bad idea.
Fortunately the Dems are floundering as we speak but it's important to know whats at risk.
Plus the billion different variations of "You're fired" would grate after two minutes.

I genuinely don't understand what their strategy even is at this point. I watched a lot of networks to see how bad the spin would be. Imagine my surprise when I heard several reluctant confessions that Trump has basically won this fight. Mueller is over. Impeachment is a non-starter. They've got nothing at this point but the 2020 race, and that's already a shitshow because nearly every candidate is making the Democrats look like desperate idiots. The House has spent the last year trying to "get" the President instead of doing nearly anything else, which has made the Democrats look like useless idiots, and 4 of those new congresswomen have been in public nearly every day loudly making the Democrats look like unhinged idiots. The speaker of the house can't even manage to rein then in without getting shit flung at her and called a racist, which makes the Democrats look like weak idiots. So unless the plan was "Hey, let's look like several types of idiot!" then I don't know what they're thinking.

It's an incredibly stupid plan because what, they think people who are loyal to and fond of Trump are just gonna forget him literally the second he steps out of the Oval Office? The public is fickle but not quite that fickle. Even discounting any possible extrajudicial consequences that would occur from rendering the half of the nation with 9/10ths of the guns and ammo insensate with rage, they'd be driving record numbers of Republican voters to the polls for at least a decade after. "We can't let the Democrats win anything or they're going to lock our people up on false charges" is a hell of a fucking campaigning tool that they'd be tossing in the Republican populace's lap.

I'm just guessing, but maybe the impeachment thing is just a carrot-on-a-stick. Something to dangle in front of their most rabid voters' faces, to maintain them in a state of righteous frenzy. In this variant, the new "we're gonna get him after his term is over!" spin is meant to ensure that these voters don't feel betrayed if there's no attempt at impeachment; they're instead promised that Drumpf will go to jail after the election (for real! we swear!) and that's good enough because they just hate him so much.

The problem with that strategy is that rabid voter-bases don't win Presidential elections. Besides, those people are going to vote Democrat no matter what happens. They'd vote for Pelosi's "Glass of water with a 'D' on it."

I still find it hilarious that anyone still believes that Trump is antisemitic when he's helped Israel more than any other US president in recent memory, and has an openly Jewish son-in-law.
It's extra comedic when wayward Jews seem to not know of this either. Or when they try to force their will on the traditions of Gentile holidays.
It reminds me of that time a Trump-bashing associate of mine once told me that I can't search for any specific news, or on any specific sites, or write down anything too specific on the Google search engine for news, but only the most general of search queries, because otherwise I'm already doing a "biased search".
