It's not always because they are dirtbags looking to score. Often they are looking for something emotionally that they aren't getting at home. Not that it excuses it. It is just something people do.

Nick went way too light on Vic's ex, her email reads like it was prepared by some hidden discord group after having sweet nothings whispered into her ears by certain people. Any pity I had for this woman evaporated after reading that, she just wanted to be a huge cunt to him in a legal paper.

Tons of stuff in there thst I'm sure she is just thinking he must have done or was told he did. It makes sense that's she's pissed off and hurt. But yeah that email was heavily, heavily biased and emotionally charged.

If she wanted Vic to heal, if she's praying for him, and if she respects her own privacy....why the fuck submit such an embarrassing and irrelevant group of emails like that? It's fucked up and it's no one's business. And now that their personal issues are totally exposed, how the fuck are you supposed to heal?

This is why I detest making public accusations of people. What's the point? What justice do you get from it? All it does is ensure that no matter what the accused and accuser will have shit hanging over their heads forever.

My friend and his crazy ex got into a fight and she made a ridiculous Facebook post about it with some elements of truth, some total bullshit and projection, and 100% avoiding any accountability for her own bad actions. I immediately contacted my friend to ask how much of it was true and to just be truthful with me. He was. He fucked up and owned up to it privately and publicly. But what this bitch did was ensure that in our small community he will be looked at sideways as some sort of rage-filled abuser no matter what steps he takes for self-improvement and no matter if she herself ever forgives him for anything.

He's currently taking her to court for custody of their baby girl because she's been trying to control when he can see her and treats him like he'd be a danger to his own fucking daughter because of a drunken fight they had once. She goes on and on and on about this shit on Facebook and he says nothing publicly. Instead he's taking the legal route and she's about to get a very rude reality check. She certainly isn't perfect either and ironically has a much more violent past than him (which she's bragged about), but she is the kind of "tough-ass feminist" who don't take no shit but will also act like a helpless victim when it suits her. Just a sad excuse for an adult.

Reminds me very much of Vic's case and how he just wants things to calm down and for life to move on. But these attention-seeking, controversy-hungry freaks do not want that in the slightest.


Sorry for rant. This shit just angers me to no end and I'm sick of people lying about others and making it harder for actual victims to come forward. They disrespect everyone with these pathetic public displays.

One thing is clear. Vic has done a post mortem of the relationship and quite a bit of reflection on his actions to learn to be a better person in the future. Specht has not. She has fallen into the trap many who were cheated on do and skipping that step in favor of externalizing all the blame and focusing their feelings on anger towards the other person and how they were wronged.
It's been, what, 6 months? 8? A year? Someone who is writing about a breakup should be willing to admit to their part in the failures at that point. Not conceding something is not healthy. Cheated on or not.

That's understandable. There have been times where they'd acknowledge that they ran with bad info, but the fact that sometimes they just don't encourages me to run verification through Nick's streams, Twitter and the farms when something seems really dodgy.

I'm not exactly sure how he handled the doxxxing but getting doxxxed alone isn't a big deal in itself. Literally anyone who isn't insanely careful can be doxxxed. It's what is done with that information that matters. If he starts getting dead animals mailed to his home or if his wife starts getting letters or e-mails or something threatening her and their children, THAT'S the point where he needs to go to the police and start pressing charges after collecting all the evidence.

Seen many a case like this and also in a position where I could call someone out over failed relationship stuff and probably give someone a hard time, if I wanted to be like most of these women who see #metoo as a good way to get revenge on a shitty ex.

My general experience is that the truth of the matter is generally somewhere in the middle. Relationships take two to tango and it's easy to say "it's all their fault!" while avoiding introspection to go "so why did I stay till this point?". Sometimes it's just that 2 people are a very bad match, and despite whatever feelings they have, their personalities, habits and quirks clash in a horrible way - but the strong feelings you have blind you to this. Or even in a case where someone is maybe 70% at fault, it's easy to handwave the fact that the other person contributed by ignoring red flags, warnings by friends & family, or took a lot of bad behaviour because low self-esteem led them to believe that person was good as it was ever going to get for them.

As per the popular comparison in this thread. There's no denying ProJared was likely doing more screwing about outside his relationship with his ex-wife. But hot mess aside, it was painfully clear from the slap-fight exchanges that the whole "lets be poly" thing was an attempt to paper over major cracks in the relationship, and then taking a sledgehammer to it. He's scummy for what he did, but she was foolish for believing an open relationship would somehow improve their damaged relationship.

We're unlikely to get the full story, because it's really a private issue that shouldn't of been dragged up. At least not with a personal email like that where it's clearly bait to make the guy go "oh I'm really sorry" so they can go "LOOK LOOK HE ADMITTED HE SCREWED UP, LET'S ASSUME THE EX'S ENTIRE STORY IS TRUE BECAUSE OF THAT!!!"

Even if he did end up hooked on enjoying the high of sex with women who throw themselves at him just because he voices some animus. People sometimes end up stuck on bad behaviour patterns, and if he's recognised that and getting help for it, as seems to be the case - then people need to let that person work on breaking the habit or working out the root of why that behaviour took hold. Not that people should just be like "oh okay help means your fine let's blindly forgive" - but breaking bad habits is a tough task and takes time and compassion to work through.
