I can't even get upset with her at this point because her antics lack the merest shred of personality or real driving emotion behind them. She's egotistical and a narcissist, but those don't qualify as emotions.

We're at page 373, and to be honest I think the only reason this thread's gotten this many replies is because a lot of people here have a personal stake in seeing Alyssa fail. If she was some random lolcow nobody on the forums had history with then I think this thread would have petered out sometime after the climax of her article's release. I'm not saying that I think people should abandon this thread. You do what you want; I just have to ask, at this stage, what's the point?

This is an issue that deserves to be talked about more, I think. But you can't just vilify dog owners for their choice in pets. As long as they're aware of any health issues their animals might have and are prepared to take good care of them it shouldn't be any of your business.

And that's what's so funny and cringeworthy about Alyssa's rant. She has a breed that has common health issues, and she adamantly refuses to take care of it. She doesn't even acknowledge that she's doing the very thing that she's preaching against, because as we know, it's only bad when it's not Alyssa doing it. Classic.

I own Italian greyhounds, and they generally have very, very bad dental problems, so I take them in every few months to have their teeth professionally cleaned. Guess I'm a terrible person because, heaven forbid, I own a breed with some issues, yet I seek to make sure their issues are kept in check.

Her support system has crumbled, she's on a downward spiral of self-destruction, and at some point something will probably give, but the bottom hasn't fallen out yet.

1. She might come back here if she's desperate enough for attention (a la TJ and Holden).
2. Her deciding to change her life for the better would take some extreme introspection and I can't see that happening anytime soon (or anytime before she hits rock bottom).
3. Physically or verbally assault? Because chewing someone out I can see as a possibility, but Alyssa's violent tendencies have shown themselves to be emotional rather than physical. The odds of her pulling a Chris are low.

All of these possibilities require Alyssa to take the initiative. Trying to force or coerce her into one of them is kind of a dick move. Telling her to better herself is a positive undertaking, yes, but it's moot at this point. She refuses to listen, and everything anyone could tell her on the subject has already been said. It's devolved into people trying to beat sense into her which just leads to resentment on both sides.

Null and I have no personal stakes and we're both part of a cadre of Kiwis actively trying to get more content from Vade. She's the only tumblrista we've covered with a body count, she's one of the most hilariously satisfying to watch fail, and she's eminently mockable because she's drunk so much of the kool-aid.

Also, she's been on-record by several (even before weens got to her store on Yelp) as being petulent and assholish with customers. I'm not saying she has strong enough Autism to pull a full OPL, but she definitely has enough stupid to go full McIntosh on some customer and het herself fired.

What kind of music does Vade like? What's Vade's favorite book? Favorite movie? All they ever seem to post is anime and video game shit as far as their interests go. Their reference pool is more like a puddle.

i sincerely am starting to think the answer is just none. anything she does do that is new immediately becomes kin for her or she rejects it. kind of like chris.

my rationale is that vade literally just posts on tumblr, smokes weed or plays video games. due to how tumblr works you only are subjected to the same people posting the same stuff, so vade is essentially stuck in this. she'll never seek out actual helpful or cool resources the internet provides.

i don't even know if she listens to music at all, i think she'd be a lot happier if she did more often though.

and this is kind of weird when you compare her to other people who live this kind of lifestyle, they're usually savvy about shit because of the amount of media they ingest. does she even talk about video games or anime without mentioning something sjw about them? i mean even with her few friends, like maro? what do they talk about?

the hardest argument would have to be marjan, who is the only person that really blurs the line between lolcow and legitimate criminal. he's far more dangerous and despicable than vade, but he too has moments of lulz.

vade has nothing. she is a shell of a shell. the only reason she is a lolcow is because of her past abuse and edgy opinions on gender and sexuality. if she did not have those, we could only post to a-log her, which more often than not is already what goes on here. but that's inevitable.

the blunt truth is we're enablers, those who want vade to get help or become a better person are part of the problem by posting in her thread, so am i. we are probably the last vessel of attention she has left. we will probably ever be, if we keep policing her.
