Arin Hanson / Egoraptor / Grump - "Hey I'm Grump!" of Game Grumps fame, hypocritical SJW doxer, shat himself recording a let's play

I never imagined Jack could look attractive (not digging the weird ponytail tho)
Contrasted to Arin, you’d think Arin just came out of the Soy Factory

That's sort of the general vibe of the interview TBH: the Virgin Arin vs. the Chad Jack, so to speak.

While Jack talks about his reasoning/expectations of himself as well as how he was able to find a sweet spot with his audience to keep making content, Arin seems much more focused on an end goal for Game Grumps and admitted to causing major burnout, and being kinda egotistical towards the topic of his channel's metrics, salary, and really any general discussion regarding Grumps that they seem to land on.

You get the sense that one feels more genuine than the other.

The show pretty much just cribs wikipedia, complete with those mistakes and "revisions". The people on the show often have a connection to the history (like they live in New York and the story takes place in New York) but aren't regarded as experts of said history.
They had the guy who created the musical hamilton on for an episode about the dude

They also had the son of Johnny Cool (a famous Boston arsonist) on the Boston episode, telling the story of Johnny Cool.

For the most part though, it's local actors and/or comedians and not typically people with a historical perspective. There are large inaccuracies in some episodes, but it's not exactly billing itself as a 100% perfect source.

Derek waters is the co creator and host of drunk history, a show where celebs get wasted and tell history facts
Is it celebrities? I enjoyed the first season off and on and never recognized anyone. I assumed it was local college kids as the show's creator went on a light tour & maybe a few small-time local comedians looking for breaks into Comedy Central shows for career points.

The Grumps made a Q&A podcast for the new channel "The Grumps", but instead of releasing it on "The Grumps", the Grumps decided to release the Game Grumps Q&A podcast on the "Game Grumps" channel, despite it not being a thing that the Grumps' "Game Grumps" content iss centered around, nor was something the Grumps put on the Game Grumps schedule. This was instead supposed to follow "The Grumps" schedule, not to be confused with the Grumps' schedule on their actual channel: "Game Grumps".

As an aside: their naming conventions are fucking stupid.

EDIT: Also Dan's apparently going "off-the-grid" (i.e. he's going silent on his social media for a bit because of him complaining about having to have read stream donations).

So basically an ad for their new channel posted on their old one?

That's what I thought at first, but nope, it just got uploaded to the wrong channel by mistake.

I cannot believe "a professional comedian and youtube man" has this much trouble wrangling his tards to do their jobs properly! Who would have guessed a high school drop out with anger issues is an irresponsible imbecile?

Their social media manager - Allie - said this was done intentionally to fill up the empty Friday slot (guess they're taking a break from their weekly merch drops) and what will be going up on The Grumps channel will be 'totally different', and you'll just have to stay tuned in to find out because -no spoilers! *gags*

He's going radio silent because he doesn't like reading stream donations?

I don't know know if it's just too early in the day for me and my brain hasn't woken up enough to process this or if this reason he gave for going radio silent legit doesn't make a lick of sense.

So then why the hell is the intro for “The Grumps” on the Q&A video then!? Scratch that: why are they completely rearranging the Thursday slot with promises of more content, on top of the Q&A Podcast that they’ve now moved to Fridays, on top of whatever new shit is going to be on “The Grumps” channel? Especially when the intros/videos for “The Grumps” are still going to be used on Game Grumps?

Are they dim? Did they even have a plan for any of this; I thought this was supposed to make less work for them, not more!

Because toxic fans have hurteded his feewings.

That’s the only real reason that’s been given thus far, or at least speculated upon, after they bum-rushed through Undertale not giving a shit about the last 10 minutes, before going right back to Super Mario Maker 2: the thing everyone hates when they stream it.

I honestly hope it's something a little more significant than that; because nothing is more depressing than a 40 year old grown man being so distraught by well deserved criticism that he'd go radio silent over it.

There's being sensitive and then there's being...that.

He is a bum-jew trying to make it in showbiz... what do you expect?

You'd think being in your forties, you would have some maturity and the ability to take criticism. I guess he's been in Commiefornia for too long and is destined to ride the trigger train with the rest of them. Seriously, what did he expect? His "job" is to agree with everything Dear Leader says and read donations. Pretty easy thing to be getting a paycheck for and too easy to be crying over having to do it.
