Yeah, the entitlement is extreme, there have been cases documented of men actually insisting on a C-section for their surrogate so their baby isn't ever exposed to pussy. A straight man with those kinds of medical demands on a partner would usually be right out on his ass, with no one sympathizing with his side, but it's just a cute story for gay dudes about how some woman had to have major abdominal surgery so they could get their baby in proper Platinum Star Gay condition.
Then you get the trans people who are positive their sister or other female relative will totally carry a pregnancy to term for them, possibly even using her own eggs, so basically give away her own baby. Jazz Jennings set off a flurry of this kind of dream scenario for a lot of trans teens after saying he could just stick sperm in his sister's vag (he phrased it that way, too) to get a baby.
