Allison will absolutely cave like a wet noodle. We've had her pegged since this started. She was a full of crap fujoshi who was happy to spread rumors to her friends in person and over twitter (she can't tell the difference between the two btw). This is the thing here. There is a plot possibly involving Saucedo known as the "Broken Staircase". It is a master list google spreadsheet of voice actors on the convention sheet that are "creepers". Mignogna was on that list and was one of the more high profile targets. Allison was just doing what she usually did and had no idea there were forces in the Anime "community" moving towards a political purge. We do in fact have the spreadsheet, which I have attached to the bottom here. It has just occurred to me that I don't think its actually been put onto the farms as a full .xl file.

So here it is. The morons left their work publicly viewable if you knew how to search for it. I have not noticed any changes in months though so they have either abandoned the project or put it on ice, so I feel comfortable revealing we have it. Also, I love the header quote the idiots put on it.

Sadly, those are random usernames generated by Google to represent non-logged in accounts. You can try reporting the file for copyright issues to get who created it, but the users did some basic opsec and created a new, fake, Google account to hide that information.

I had absolutely no idea about him at all until well after nick started talking about him. I couldn't name a single Japanese VA that are 100 times more popular either. This has with out a doubt turned Vic into a C-list star. I would have ranked D or lower before this, since who the fuck knows the name of a guy that ONLY voices a character. Vic never created a show I watched or had his face on a commercial for it either. Vic might have worked in anime for decades but won't get recognized outside of niche community, even now.


Also hate the fact I can never watch the saga of Tanya "the evil" in english ever again. The English VA work was okay at best, but Monica voices Tanya and I can't separate the voice anymore. The title of the series was something along the lines of military girl journey, but Funimation had to go full social justice and add evil for WW1 German empire theme.

Couple of things;
The name change wasn't on Funimation, the manga and LN had the same change due to the literal translation of Youjo Senki being "little girl military chronicles" which doesn't roll off the tongue so well.

Second, the Japanese VA for Tanya is perfect, Monica Rial dreams of being half as good as Aoi Yuki.

Third, the setting is a mix of ww1 and ww2 but i'd argue with the mages it's harder to equate it to one or the other.

So Nick knows that the elements of defamation include saying something about somebody in particular. The awkward phrasing of "one of these guys" is, IMO, 100% intentional: it provides an easy defense against defamation claims.
