Depends. I know a couple Breadtubers have decided they're non-binary for that reason. Others get pissy at the notion of abolishing gender, because it would mean they're not any different from anybody else.

Unfortunely, Vaush deleted the video really quickly before I could archive itFor what I could read about these posts, Vaush apparently has a very complicated relationship with his girlfriend. They always have some banter on the chats where they insult each other in a playful way, but it seems from the video that could be not ironic and Vaush is too "dirtbag" for her.

It's surprising how much drama Vaush has gotten himself in for the short amount of time he's been making videos. There was the stuff with him "harassing" a girl on Discord that cropped up a couple months ago (granted, the "harassment" had been years old by that point and was brought back up because he was starting to see success on YouTube). Vaush and Hasan still don't like each other iirc because Vaush immediately tried to take over Hasan's spot on the Scuffed Podcast right after Hasan left. I think he also said he would murder Harkdan, another prominent guy in Destiny's community, because he's a landlord (which may have contributed to him being booted off Twitch).

I don't know if he has enough shit on him to be thread worthy yet, but jesus the guy is one hell of a drama magnet.

Vaush seems a pretty interesting exceptional individual. From the moment I knew about this guy on the Killstream saying stupid shit like minorities should commit terrorist acts, I thought that this guy is going to be a juicy source for exceptional shenanigans. He actually got banned from Twitch for saying that Israel should bombed to the ground. In his debate with Blaire, he stated that her audience is conservative and insinuated that she was the gate to muh altright or some shit (even if some rightoids hate her for muh degeneracy). Hell, in the fucking Killstream he said that he hated reading despite having a motherfucking Sociology degree!! So yeah, Vaush has been described as the "No Bullshit of the Left". And with a debate with The Alternate Hypotesis on the horizon, the shitshow will go on

It gets complicated, since most any non-binary classifications are hilariously broad, and nobody wants to get cancelled for being "non-inclusive", so they basically just go along with it. In general, non-binary just means you don't identify as either male or female, though usually within that is an implied, "and why would you think there's only two choices, anyway?" Usually, any "oppression" suffered by being NB is having people dare to suggest that you might actually be male or female, which I guess is supposed to be "denying their existence" or something.

Honestly, I'm not really sure if they know what they're upset about most of the time.

doing a google search shows various hits going back a few years, mainly comments on various videos including racing game videos. he's obviously just trying to cash in and get noticed, started a thread for himself on the subreddit (archive), and found an interesting hit with comments that have the same name/av, something about "gothic lolita transformation" (archive), some autism i can't parse and don't really care to look into. maybe someone else knows what's going on there.
