Incidentally, TUG shouldn't have said it was a bat. He didn't see what happened, he doesn't know how they knocked his mailbox off. Why commit to a detail that can be nitpicked? Poor choice.

I was thinking the same thing. In response to that criticism I can only say he was only assuming it was a bat due to the common trope.

Plausible. However, I've seen some people say that because the mailbox wasn't more crushed than it appears, that that is evidence of it not being hit at all.

Looks like PLA with thick walls and probably a pretty high glass fibre content. That stuf flexes under impact and holds its shape. Downside is that it doesn't tolerate UV all that well, which is probably why it was taped up in the first place. The clips holding the cap to the base will have brittled and cracked.

That's a possibility. My first thought was many underestimate the structural integrity of a mailbox and overestimate the integrity of it's weakest points (what connects the box to the pole). There's a few different aspects to this that cumulatively have affected TUG and his YT presence. I have to press X on a lot of what I've seen here.

I keep in mind that he was threatened with CPS, coincidentally his wife lost a baby all while some poor innocent normie was being harassed because the KV idiots doxxed the wrong lady. The lengths these creatures will go to because someone disagrees with their bullshit is frightening.

While that's happening, TUG is putting together a comic book (he was covering CG long before Vic) and multiple attempts to undermine the IGG that is financing (successfully) that same comic.

Keeping all of that in mind, I see a weaponized dox of TUG. A wife that, as someone with previous complications, nears her delivery date. A precious 5 year old little girl that he'd protect at all costs and then, perfectly timed with the dox, his mailbox (I don't give a flip about how bad a shape it was in) gets creamed. Whether or not that was simple local vandals is not known. It's possible, maybe even likely but the timing couldn't be worse.

I see a lot of heavy stressors coming together at once and that he cooked off is reasonable though not the wisest. I see a lot of cynicism concerning the veracity of TUG's claim.

Personally, I like his style, if you don't you don't have to watch him. The shilling for the comic is legit, how else does he put it out there? And he may have "sperged" out about the dox and mailbox but, all things considered, I can understand it. Finally, whatever else TUG may be, he hasn't shown himself to be a liar.
