It originated from rotten.com and Scott Adams got extremely butthurt over it and tried to wipe out their existence. The internet being the internet, we can still see these and laugh 20 years later.

Never heard of this guy but none of those comics in the OP are all that terrible. Sure they're a little bit silly but nothing there points to him being a giant spaz or an uptight prick. I mean, he's a webcomic artist, there's a lot of gigantic losers in that group. I was expecting a little bit more content considering his webcomic background, but his internet history seems unspectacular. He lacks the baggage of a Tim Buckley or a Sophie Labelle.

I still see this shit in random /v/ /tv/ and /co/ 2019 threads; a normal discussion, then somebody says something someone else doesn't like, and then they respond with a picture of a TV schedule for childrens programming and a .rar of Barney and MLP and recite a litany of crimes and faggotry this Barneyfag poster in disguise is guilty of.
Fred isn't enough of a sperg online so he's in a megathread(but boy is he a spaz in person at cons), and Foamy's Jonathan Ian Mathers just sold out to make DVD bux off Hot Topic, I don't know of him being lulzy.

I don't know about Stonetoss being a good cow, he seems averagely edgy. Antifa's gay-op on Reddit to edit him out of existence, however, is pretty funny to watch.
