I'd say maybe one of the pre-XP OSes like 2000 or 98, but I don't know if he's considered either of those, or if there's really much of anything he could do regarding those, since they're pretty old.

He's actually done both of those already, as well as a Mac destruction. I really don't think there's anything else he could do, barring some of the older, more obscure machines - but he would probably be hard pressed to find a functioning emulator of those systems in the first place, much less figuring out a way to destroy them.

Maybe the mods are finally growing a pair? Or maybe Joel and Vinny are? It looked like that Vinny was becoming increasingly pissed at the current status of chat (both by comments in this thread and also by watching some recent archives, you can hear him growing more and more tired of it.)
I know I'm being too optimistic, to the point of almost being deluded, but one can dream, no? haha.
Although I'm still agreeing wholly with @Most Dumbest Bitch, that vinny would probably do nothing about it, at least not in the sunlight. Because they're still the ones that are pulling a lot of money (not to mention that he's already at the point of no longer being "just a niche streamer", but an actual e-icon. Even though some of his one liners make me believe he misses the "old times", but knowing he's a doomer just confuses me.)

And I feel like Vin's really laying off the corruptions lately, which I kind of understand, but chat got really bored during his Sponge games and talk about back pain and which real life kitchen tools are the best. He's getting old.

That's also why I felt so bad I wrote that weird\pathetic "pls become his fren pls" post a few pages ago.
I think I know that feeling, it happens to me a lot, too. I'm some years old, and I find nobody with my interests that is on my same age, especially in my street.
Otherwise I just find fucking kids to talk about some shit and hearing\laughing at my stories and views of the world [because of also the way I tell them]. To the point that I'm now being called 'Beaver dad', from an old kids cartoon a national tv network used to air back when I was 7.
And I feel like a fucking grandpa now. (also add my shyness, social awkwardness and general lack of knowledge on how to properly argue in the mix...)*

This was also the first time I've seen Joel's Windows destruction go from 13.000 viewers to 7.200, probably because this time he kept searching Google for viruses and that for over 30 minutes, then downloaded a toolbar, didn't realize he already had that toolbar, installed it again, got mad at himself for reinstalling the same thing, did live pirating on stream (downloaded a Nintendo Emulator and ROM) to show that those kind of sites are filled with viruses these days but everything turned out to work just fine. Then he just kind of gave up, looked through the files, found that Leurak gave him old Nintendo browsers (Mario Tennis browser in particular, if anyone remembers those) and kept hitting F5 in hopes for the internet to work. But it didn't. Afterward someone in chat said Bing still works for these old ass Nintendo browsers (which is true) but he couldn't figure out how to load sites, and bang, just like that, 2 hours gone. The actual destruction was less than 2 minutes, he opened a virus Leurak made (just one where the screen is glitched and it crashes, then you have to play DOS Desert Bus for 8 hours or else all your files will be erased (which he didn't, I really think he wasn't feeling it this year. At all. He literally saw it, said he won't do it and allowed everything to be erased.).

Wow. This year's windows destruction sounds like a dumpster fire. another thing that he should probably stop doing, since he completely lost interest in. I mean, ok, chat may be crying to 'give us more destruction streams', but then they rant that he doesn't enjoy doing some of it, and that others are complete trash. At this point he needs a new one-off,like when he was editing nes games to make them unplayable (like the "Dr.Pringles" dr.mario editing stream).
I think that his OS Destruction streams have becoming more and more boring with the modern os he tried to destroy. remember the mac "destruction"? all he did was just fuck up some settings and called it a day. (except maybe the win8, that was a great modern os destruction, but the linux one was shit)

Which again brings up the question - how much longevity does streaming as a career really have? How long can you conceivably maintain that lifestyle, streaming cheesy video games all day for an audience of teenagers, as a grown man nearing 40? At what point is it time to move on?

Aging is a normal part of life, but seeing Vinny change so much before our eyes is a weird experience. We're watching someone age and grow old in a steady, obvious pattern, and every stream becomes a new time capsule moment. It's strange.

Exactly! His viewer base keeps getting stupider, while he's (normally) growing older. It's weird though, I saw other streamers\jewtubers\generic.Content.Creator_324324, normally their user base grows older with them, getting somewhat more mature. I guess this isn't vine's case.

Correct. However, we all know how Joel is when it comes to incentives. It's like when people got hyped about a real life BBQ stream on Twitter yesterday and then he just didn't do it.

Also, Joel will rarely respond to your email. That doesn't mean he won't, but your best bet (for a fast reply) is honestly to Tweet at him on Twitter or send an email to Vinny, suggesting your idea for the next charity stream (since they go through user suggestions with the team before every charity stream). That's what worked for me when I had urgent inquiries.

Well, there used to be a time where low effort art wasn't even allowed (anything done in MS Paint, a simple photo edit and what not). But I suppose they changed those rules. Now you're not allowed to criticize any art, because it could do an ouchie to someone's feelings.

I'm surprised that Joel has been getting so annoyed at memes in recent days. He wants to ban Jerma's One Guy meme from chat because it annoys him. But dear God, we're going to have a return of the "LE ZA WARUDO XDDDDD" plague in chat soon once Joel finishes watching the adaptation of part 5.

I'm surprised that Joel has been getting so annoyed at memes in recent days.

It's probably a combination of an increasingly unruly chat & the realization that most of the people hassling him with those memes to begin with don't know anything about him or his other material at all. It astounded me when I found out that Grand Dad JUST became a semi-viral meme in 2017/2018, when that joke happened several years prior and had already had its rise and fall in Joel's circle. I think that's part of why Joel gets so annoyed - people can't let a meme die, even when it has long overstayed its welcome.

Bonzi Buddy (and the Windows XP Destruction as a whole) is another good example of that - it was funny at the time, sure, and the XP Destruction is definitely one of his best, but people overused it and referenced it so much that it beat all the comedy out of it. And since he's been streaming for such a long time, there are a LOT more jokes for people to ruin - which probably has him disillusioned with the whole thing. Poor guy.

Anyway, what's everyone's favorite long dead Vinesauce meme? I still have some love for Vinny's "it's hip to fuck bees," even though he fucking hates it, but I think my absolute favorite is either Joel's H E T, or "Joel gets meaner every day" (although we can debate whether or not that one is really dead).
