FFZ seems to still not work on recent firefox updates :(

Anyways I'm glad I chose to not watch any live.

I'd be banned for being "uwu twansphowbic uwu" for just asking what being trans has to do with ____

Of course, Rev says it, he pretty much wants to avoid ANY discourse and I would guess if he did not cave in he'd suddenly get #canceled
I would imagine Joel and Vinny have the chat shut off tho.

I can imagine the both of them getting stressed out IRL over this crap, I wonder how many emails both Joel and Vinny get where troons threaten them or demand apologies?

Sorry to bring up an older topic, But what's this about Vappy putting Vinny in his Furry commission, and whatever else? Does that have anything to do with The new person running Fullsauce or the long breaks in fullsauce uploads a couple months back?

Remind me again what this charity is even for? It's been so drowned out by the screeching troons I don't remember what the actual purpose of it is.

It's for kids with cancer. I am honestly wondering if this is going to be one of the last, if not the last time they will be hosting the charity stream. They are trying out a new company for merch this year, if I recall correctly, because everything was being delivered months after it was ordered. Everything seems to be becoming a clusterfuck of complications with the charity streams so I don't think anyone but the troons would blame them if there were no more after this.

Funny Thing is that Last night Vinny found out that the shipping will still be fucked, even with using Fangamer over Ownaj

last time I watched varg live was when he streamed RCT2, can't really remember much about the streams or anything but chat quality is fucking 404 (as pointed out by thread) and joel doesn't seem as happy as he has been (also pointed out by thread)
shit's fucked up, I can remember binging on their videos and being that sperg who talked about the windows destruction streams all day. from what I can gather from this thread, chat is more cancer than in destruction streams, wew. welp

Well, we can't say for certain, but I personally believe that that is the case. If memory serves, Vappy lost his role as primary editor/Fullsauce uploader, and Vinny now has someone else handling Fullsauce (who is apparently anonymous, since I keep seeing people refer to them as John Fullsauce). It wouldn't surprise me if that was closely related to Vappy overstepping by putting Vinny in the NSFW commission.

Quite some time ago Vinny said he was going to explain why Vappy was fired but he never did. I guess with that porn commission Vin might have feared the #MeToo gang would grab him? nah he likely just didn't want the drama associated with it if he did talk about it.

As for the remainder of the stream was anyone brave enough to grab caps or catch any drama?

DOS Desert Bus just got confirmed, we hit over 100K.
A pleasantly calm chat during Joel's destruction stream (in terms of trans spam and furries). At 160K we'll get a facecam Halloween stream from Joel, so let's see if he will stick to it or just forget about it again.

Yeah, I don't think #MeToo has anything to do with Vappy getting fired for throwing Vinny into his furry porn. I'm sure it was a combination of not wanting to deal with the drama and honestly just forgetting about it. I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that they had more than a working relationship, so it doesn't seem to me that they were close enough for Vinny to be genuinely upset about having to cut him off as an unofficial member of the team. So it was probably just easier all around to not discuss it.

He's been using Desert Bus as a bait a lot lately, isn't he?

They are, astoundingly, some of his most successful streams. Doesn't surprise me he's bringing it back all the time; it pulls the big numbers.

He will conveniently "forget" about it, as he does all incentives he doesn't actually want to do. What I don't understand is why he suggests these things in the first place. Maybe it's because the only things that work well as fan incentives tend to be the things Joel abhors doing the most?

I haven't kept up with the charity streams, so keep me updated if anything good happens. (And by good I mean bad.)

Ah well, now that the charity streams are over it's safe to say that this year has been quite lackluster. Weirdly enough, it felt like Rev, Ima and Hootey put more effort into it than Vinny and Joel this time. Joel's VineWrestle was your usual VineWrestle with amusing tech problems but went to absolute shit once Jerma made a guest appearance, the destruction stream was very inconsistent and nothing entertaining happened other than Joel downloading ROMs live on stream (which I imagine is against the TOS?). As far as Vinny goes, he appeared to be really tired during his Education stream (which I don't blame him for) and his final stream last night was more talk about real life sponges and playing meme levels in Dreams than Corruptions which made me think the ones he has saved up are going to be great since that's usually what happens, but no they were very generic and only 4 games that I can recall (Breath of the Wild, Final Fantasy X, DMC2, Metal Gear Solid 3). However, it's certainly surprising that the trans emote spam barely existed whenever Joel & Vinny streamed but when the others did it was going on full force, even when the hosts were just reading donations. I still have mixed feelings about NorixWolfe, the dude's a hardcore furry and seeing him constantly choose furry/dog skins in G Mod (since you had to watch the stream from his POV) was kinda annoying, however he obviously held himself back this year since there were no OwO posts on the official Twitter or furtalk whenever he got to say something to Vinny and the others. He was very tolerable, surprisingly. The cursed Ralph body pillow made me giggle, it took 3 tries before someone who won it actually wanted it.

But all that doesn't matter, we broke last year's record by a mile, 150K in stream donations excluding the ones for merch and other stuff (which Vinny will probably make public on Twitter today). So all I can say is that hopefully next year's charity stream can be a bit more oldschool-ish again, I don't mind the new format where Joel is destroying the OS in the last second with some virus Leurak made, but compared to him fighting with the Windows cmd back then it doesn't have that special feel to it anymore. And I feel like Vin's really laying off the corruptions lately, which I kind of understand, but chat got really bored during his Sponge games and talk about back pain and which real life kitchen tools are the best. He's getting old.

Edit:
I'm too lazy to go back a few pages and read who said it, but whoever mentioned that Vinny's friends are well off is completely right. Two of them donated 10K and 25K, then talked about that's the best they can do before they go on vacation. So Vinny definitely has some mature company in real life, which should certainly be good for him. Hootey also appears to be a great and caring father.
Here's a 2011 picture of Vin that got shown for a brief second as an incentive when we hit 120K on stream, apparently this was from one of his TV appearances.

Last edit:
We hit $219,420 , but merch sales will continue until the 25th.
This means Joel will have to do all his charity incentives (including facecam, VR, guitar hero Mario Paint and a really "tall jump").

I wasn't able to catch any of the streams, but I heard next to nothing about them, and it feels like it ended so quickly this year. I think someone speculated a few pages back that they were phasing out the charity streams, and this year seems like proof.

Because of Jerma himself, or because of his fans? I don't know anything about the guy, but he and Joel seem to be getting in good with each other.

Which again brings up the question - how much longevity does streaming as a career really have? How long can you conceivably maintain that lifestyle, streaming cheesy video games all day for an audience of teenagers, as a grown man nearing 40? At what point is it time to move on?

Aging is a normal part of life, but seeing Vinny change so much before our eyes is a weird experience. We're watching someone age and grow old in a steady, obvious pattern, and every stream becomes a new time capsule moment. It's strange.

That was me! And yes, they're pretty fucking well-to-do, which is good company for him to keep. His career is unstable and heavily dependent on how much time and effort he's willing to put into shit he doesn't care about, so it's probably nice to have normal, reliable friends in secure jobs (if memory serves, they're doctors and lawyers primarily), just to give him a little bit more balance.

Because nothing special was happening. Quite literally nothing. This was also the first time I've seen Joel's Windows destruction go from 13.000 viewers to 7.200, probably because this time he kept searching Google for viruses and that for over 30 minutes, then downloaded a toolbar, didn't realize he already had that toolbar, installed it again, got mad at himself for reinstalling the same thing, did live pirating on stream (downloaded a Nintendo Emulator and ROM) to show that those kind of sites are filled with viruses these days but everything turned out to work just fine. Then he just kind of gave up, looked through the files, found that Leurak gave him old Nintendo browsers (Mario Tennis browser in particular, if anyone remembers those) and kept hitting F5 in hopes for the internet to work. But it didn't. Afterward someone in chat said Bing still works for these old ass Nintendo browsers (which is true) but he couldn't figure out how to load sites, and bang, just like that, 2 hours gone. The actual destruction was less than 2 minutes, he opened a virus Leurak made (just one where the screen is glitched and it crashes, then you have to play DOS Desert Bus for 8 hours or else all your files will be erased (which he didn't, I really think he wasn't feeling it this year. At all. He literally saw it, said he won't do it and allowed everything to be erased.).

The others just did the usual stuff. There was a bit of Smash with Rev, Vinny and Ima (which was fun, but Vinny dropped out and decided to get some lunch in the middle of the stream and gave us about 45 minutes of awkwardness where Rev "Jokingly" talked about wanting to choke Ima and Jen since they apparently don't know how to function without Vinny being there. Rest was G Mod where we didn't get to see much since NorixWolfe kept changing his skins to dogs/wolves/other furry shit while the others were playing (you couldn't just jump to Vinny's channel because he wasn't streaming, so you were forced to watch his POV the entire stream). And yeah, that's pretty much it. Rest was Talk Show, reading donations and someone playing Donkey Kong Country. I don't need to go over Vinny's stuff again since I've already done that in my last reply, I guess.

I doubt they'll call off the charity streams, the viewers may have been less than before this year and the content was really boring, but we raised more money than in all the years before. Hootey was definitely satisfied, and the foundation probably too. Although, to quote Vinny here (when he streamed Dreams for charity last night) : "I'm starting to doubt PCRF enjoys being associated with us after looking at our streams."

Because of Jerma himself, or because of his fans? I don't know anything about the guy, but he and Joel seem to be getting in good with each other.

Jerma is like a bootleg Vinny & Joel combined. He's doing Kermit, Elmo and Teletubbie voices and has something called "JermaRumble", which is essentially VineWrestle but with his OCs. I don't hate the guy, it's just strange to see them get along. But it went to shit because Jerma sent Joel a video of himself announcing he'll attend VineWrestle and Joel put it on screen, so instantly all the One Guy emotes and a bunch of very confused people came over to Vinesauceishope's channel (Joel's was emote only, same goes for Vinny's etc.) and didn't get along too well since most people didn't understand the memes and references of the other fandom, aside from some who apparently have so much freetime in their lives that they can hop on a Jerma stream right after Joel stops.

Joel needs to stop doing destruction streams. there old and tired by this point and nothing will ever top the windows 8 one

10 is my personal favorite, but 8 is fantastic too. XP might be a meme by now, but we can't deny its quality.

I also tend to agree, though. How many more destructions can you really do before it gets old? There's only so much to do during them, after all, and it's not exactly the gift that keep on giving in terms of comedy. He needs a new schtick, and bad.

I'd say maybe one of the pre-XP OSes like 2000 or 98, but I don't know if he's considered either of those, or if there's really much of anything he could do regarding those, since they're pretty old.

He's actually done both of those already, as well as a Mac destruction. I really don't think there's anything else he could do, barring some of the older, more obscure machines - but he would probably be hard pressed to find a functioning emulator of those systems in the first place, much less figuring out a way to destroy them.
