It is indeed a physiological fact that women are poorly suited for jobs where physical strength is the primary qualification. Can they drive the fire truck? Sure. Would I want one to attempt to pull me out of a fiery building on the edge of imminent collapse? No. I'll take the dude made of meat and muscle who is twice her size and three times as strong. We both have a better chance of survival then. Female police officers are a necessity. Someone needs to poke around in the holes to find the meth pipe, and if that's a man, that's going to end badly for both parties. Someone in uniform with a badge needs to be able to attend to the multitude of women and children who are the victims of male violence every damn minute of every damn day. Those victims are more comfortable with women. Women also make very good detectives- a profession where prime physical force and condition are less than necessary. Here's the indicator of whether or not a woman can do a man's job: If a fat man can do it, so can a woman.

Because that's who you're talking about when you ask those questions, and the nutshell answer is: because they're fucking misogynists dunk on cultural relativism. You may or may not be surprised to hear that there is a trend in libfeminism to defend FGM, because to not supports colonialism. To judge cultures about FGM is white supremacy and relegates intact females to outcast status within the culture. As "a feminist" I reject that shit on its face and in totality.

"Feminist" in present day western society and pop media is a lazy conflation of many philosophies and worldviews. It's as lazy as the conflation of sex and gender-- and I am not at all convinced those conflations are at all innocuous or out of ignorance, and I reject that shit on its face and in totality.

Because you have to pick fights you have at least a tiny chance of winning, bud. This is something that comes with experience. A hundred angry ladies in the UK are not going to convince Crown Prince MBS to do shit. If China decides that women don't deserve property rights there's not a whole lot whiteys can do about it. What they can do is lend support to feminists in the West who come from those backgrounds, keep standards high on the homefront, and help to Westernize expats from shitholes, who can in turn influence their homelands to be less shit. FGM is a cultural institution in parts of the world that haven't changed in 1,000 years. Short of actively invading them and installing a colonial government, which wow, is a lovely thought, there is no action that Western feminists can take that will fix the clits of Egypt's baby girls overnight.

Dude I'll just address the manspreading thing first here. Chairs are a matter of space, and squishing them together can be a matter of economy. Take coach class, for example.
