Everything I've looked up about sexual harassment in the United States says that it's a term limited to employment law. For example: https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/types/sexual_harassment.cfm

Both victim and the harasser can be either a woman or a man, and the victim and harasser can be the same sex.

Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).

The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or customer.

Note that the harassed person has to be an applicant or employee. So if Monica, Jamie, etc., are all independent contractors and not employees, how can they have been sexually harassed? If Vic is an independent contractor and not an employee, why does Funimation care if he may have sexually assaulted the twins at an anime convention? They're not employees, Vic isn't an employee, and the anime convention isn't Funimation property.

The Youtoubers do help Vic by dominating the narrative there. I do not know of any KV person that daily broadcasts there. They are a constant thorn in the KV side showing how awful they've been in all this.

The KickVic crew that have YouTube channels like ProZD, @MarzGurl, or The Pedantic Romantic do not use that platform to broadcast the KickVic ideology. Instead, they use Twitter or hugbox forums like PULL.

Vic isn't and hasn't harassed them. They would need to sue the people harassing them.

They can't sue Vic for people being mean to them when he isn't involved.

I don't quite understand why professional victims, when haled into court, whine about imaginary "harassment" when anyone can see they're just being rightly criticized for their reprehensible, disgusting actions and even normal members of society loathe and despise them.

This I can answer.

The definition of what is harassment has changed and been watered down to the point of insignificance.

Started out in schools with zero tolerance policies. Teach kids that nobody is able to disagree with you or call you a bad name because that is HARASSMENT.

Sad that never actually worked because kids were smart enough to figure out they could game that system.

Then it moved on to CYBERBULLYING.
Schools literally parenting children because the parents refused to.

So we have an entire generation now that literally has no idea what harassment actually is. Ironically, they actually take to textbook harassment to deal with what they believe are issues... because it's effective.

Shocker.

But when the good guys do it, it's social justice.

As someone who watched the GamerGate Wikipedia article as it formed... give up. Wikipedia has some lefty turbo speds who will apply every rule that exists and a few that don't to prevent you from editing the article, while they ignore every rule they don't want to pay attention to. And since they don't have jobs or lives, they can camp it 24x7.

The other issue GG had that WW does not have as big of an issue on is GG talked about being a leaderless movement....and people wanted to become that leader. They also started using a lot of SJW type terminologies such as signal boosting, tone policing, and other such fuckery.

I am not disagreeing these guys are definitely trying to become figureheads, but I see it going majorly downhill post vic case. After that has been reached and the laughs or dreads have been had here, there will be those like TUG, YF, and others that want to try and make it something bigger.
