Everyone used to love ol' Egoraptor so much, people who were inspired by his style of animation on Newgrounds and emulated it always had people in the comments comparing the inspired works to the likes of him:

Pelo isn't afraid to not be PC, his work is completely his own and it's fucking funny because of that. Arin's entire career rides on keeping his fans happy now, he could get cancelled at any time and lose everything. I agree that jealousy also could be a big factor. Pelo is five years younger than Arin and has almost the same amount of suscribors. Arin has being doing this shit for ten years while Pelo exploded in just three, thanks to his Undertale videos. I like to think that Arin is salty that Pelo has the freedom to do whatever animations he wants and make money with it, while him probably has to follow not only corporate directives but very likely from his wife (I could be wrong in this one, about the amount of control that Suzy has over Arin's bussiness). Pelo is a mirror of a younger version of himself that liked to do offensive and raunchy shit and that's probably killing him inside.

Pelo is also a one man kinda guy- he animates/voice acts/edits etc all on his own I believe and with the current state of YouTube it's hard af for animators to make a living. Pelo has a good following who don't mind waiting 6 months for him to finish an animation like this one. That must sting for Arin, who after all these years doing GG his channel is stagnating.

Luckily Pelo said he's not changing his humour any time soon, so Arin's little rant just made him look absolutely exceptional. Even GG fans can't defend him over this one lol. I saw like maybe 2 or 3 people out of 500+ replies on one of his tweets defending him. The rest are fans saying "I love you Arin but this ain't it chief" :story:

I wouldn’t be surprised if something dirty about Arin comes up similiar to in vain with ProJared. Him suddenly lashing out at a longtime friend of his is very strange of him to even do. That or he’s becoming less relevant and thinks that having infighting among other animators will suddenly get him more exposure.
