I've never actually watched a Mumkey video besides the post-ruin ones so I don't know if this is supposed to be in character or what, but this feels like the most pathetic thing I've ever watched. His entire manic delivery of what I'm assuming are supposed to be jokes, along with his clear desperation to try to force himself to be in on the joke, is baffling.

I'm probably just barely older than most of the users of this site, but I feel like I need to find my walker after asking this:

What was the appeal of this guy again? I first heard of him only when his channel got banned, but it seems like all the kids seem to know who he was.

What made Mumkey so appealing was his extreme humor mixed with impeccable self-awareness. Like, if he told a joke that was “all women need to die,” he would tell it in just the right way that let you know he thought the exact opposite of that and that people who thought that were exceptional. Also, he just had good jokes with good timing in some instances.

It’s hard to show clips where that was the case now, since this drama has been going for nearly 3 months and most people on here only know him from his downfall. Call it autism, but there was a time when his cringeworthy content was considered funny. (Think Maddox)

He also just made really nice videos on Youtube culture. I'll always appreciate Mumkey for making me aware of Reactor, who is one of the most sly satirists of Youtube Millennial bullshit. How he trolled Reddit was pretty brilliant.

Now instead of making well produced videos he seems to think he can pull a Metokur and Stream. And I'm sorry but no Mumkey is not that interesting, he's only as interesting as checking this thread and twitter to see how he's fucking up.

I'm currently rewatching his anime reviews series and it honestly still holds up. The writing is just spot on. It's so clear that Mumkey is naturally edgy which made his dark comedy land perfectly. When other Youtubers try to do the same kind of comedy, it too often feels like they just watched a guide on how to appeal to edgy teenagers.

While i think the current situation is funny as hell, i really hope that Mumkey will make a comeback to the style of content that made him so great.

Maybe we've been looking at this all wrong. Maybe he didn't ditch the considerably more attractive Sheepover for Liu just because Liu was freaky, but because Sheepover was sexually dissatisfied with him. Maybe she DID stop sleeping with him, but that was the reason why.
