StoneToss (allegedly, formerly Red Panels)

While Stonetoss is funny, I think there's bigger cow opportunity in someone I've been following as of late.

Hedgewik, a blatant knockoff of Stonetoss, has a greater potential to be funny, because of how much he's just trying to be Stonetoss, but while Stonetoss ends up just unfunny and bland, Hedgewik's are just completely disjointed from reality and stuck in a time warp.

As you can tell, he's the picture of masculinity from the right's perspective. The memes write themselves.

Part of the potential here is the way he reacts to his blatant unfunniness, as seen as a trend in his Twitter, where he routinely responds to reddit and other twitter posts that criticize him, which reminds me of someome who's pretending like it isn't when it really is.View attachment 868820

Based on some of the discussion in this thread, I was unsure this deserved it's own.

This shit reminds me of the mid 2000s Penny Arcade/Control Alt Delete craze where any untalented autist thought that they could make a gaming webcomic despite having zero sense of humor and the artistic ability of a third grader. It's fucking hilarious if this trend is repeating but with the same sort of autists trying to make far right political commentary.

I could see it, since he's so active on Twitter, but lolcows don't usually work without the personal angle.

On the other hand, he drew this:

holy shit I can't believe this dude actually defended the bagel manlet

Just going to say: I've never in 6 years of running this site had leftists screech at me in a thread because someone they like was the topic. Especially not every day.
True, but there's also not many leftists on this site. And the ones that are here absolutely despise most other leftists, anyway.

This thread is boring, post something actually exceptional like the fact Stonetoss thinks only gay people do butt stuff and has done multiple comics on the subject for some reason:

I'm not sure that's the actual point of these two comics, they seem more like just cheap jokes to me. Stonetoss does, however, have multiple comics just expressing that he's against transgenderism, homosexual relationships, and I think in one comic he also shares that he's against interracial relationships.

If you look back at the early days of the Farms, this site was left-center rather than right-center. I was surprised to read an early politics thread back from 2013 that made a convincing case for socialism with mostly positive ratings rather than the vitriol that it would've usually gotten.

Back in 2013 the majority of the site was center-left. A lot of those people are gone now but it has never been a right-wing safespace.

Oh. Well, that explains why I don't see many leftist users on this site, then. If that's the case, then I can't say why right-wing users are more prone to trying to defend people who have threads. Maybe creators and personalities with right-wing views are more relatable to people who share their views, and so people take personal umbrage when they're mocked.
