As far as I can tell, TheOdd1sOut liked Arin's original tweet so most likely he got offended. Other than that, a few of the people in Pelo's video said they loved it and I have yet to find others that hated it, which, if they did, is kind of confirming one of the jokes in the video that they are afraid of criticism

But yeah, Pelo's video definitely didn't feel mean-spirited or like it was attacking people personally. Sure, you can tell who was who in the video, but Pelo never came off as someone who was vindictive in any way. Just a goofy guy who makes goofy videos.

To be fair, why bother? the last time Jon and Arin really did anything together was during Jon's massive Star Wars Game series, and that seemed to be hard enough to wangle just for a "hey look we still kinda get along neat right?" cameo. Arin went right back to blanking Jon and did nothing all the times the mob came for him before and after all of that.
Jon's long moved on and his content has since evolved into a more "whatever goes" format than strictly games or films. His is a more healthy way of moving on too, he's addressed what he feels he needs to for his audience, and takes a "take it or leave it" mantra with everything else. Not "oh god I'm so sorry for being a toxic jerk please pretend none of that ever happened because I was a shitty person that deserves the whippings and beatings (also hopefully your pity for me distracts you from the fact I was an asshole yesterday)"
Sometimes the very best thing you can do is opt not to get stuck into the tar pit with everyone else and just keep on walking, it makes the statement on it's own and is less messy in the long run.

My respect for TomFulp and Newgrounds is absolutely through the roof right now. These guys are, legitimately, one of the nicer communities that I've ever engaged with; an incredibly far cry from the cliquey and harsh environment they once were, and certainly not the absolute sadomasochists that Arin's been painting them as.
Sad that the Lovelies and Twitter Stans may now be well on their way to trying to take everyone else down in a fool's attempt to create a safer "bastion of positivity" on the Internet. It just makes me sad, honestly...
