It's a tactic. If you can't talk about certain topics, such as FBI Crime Statistics, or Cultural Marxism, then you can't address them. If you can't address them, then the people who are benefiting from them or who don't want these sort of problems to be addressed get to keep the status quo going.
Cultural Marxism exists. A bunch of Marxists decided to retool Marxism for grievance studies -- it went from "The poor are suffering, blame the rich" to "the minorities are suffering, blame the majority." They've built an entire Extreme Lefty ideology on these grievance studies as a way to get Marxism back into the American zeitgeist after it was completely and utterly discredited in the 70s thanks to Solzhenitsyn. It's a shell game, and they will do ANYTHING to prevent anyone from pointing it out, yet alone discussing, debating, and discrediting it.
