He provides evidence that he previously tried to help Assburger's gf and prevent her from killing herself. This in addition to the fact that she waited to speak out until the court case was finished (so it wasn't admissible) demonstrates she is acting maliciously.

I'd be just as frustrated as he is that she's still trying to attack him.
