Weird. I haven't seen the first Vlinny ship post and I keep tabs on the Vlinny tag on tumblr. Did it all get deleted? As for the rule 34 shit, thats to be expected and I don't take it too seriously, but the deep fakes of Vinny are creepy as hell.

Speaking of which, what are some long forgotten that you wish Joel and Vinny would revisit? I really wish Joel would finish Down Under Dan, personally - he made it to the legendarily awful mineshaft area and got stuck, which I think made him loath to try the game again. Still, I think he could figure the puzzle out if he really took his time and thought about it, because it wasn't nearly as complicated as he thought, just terribly implemented.

I would really like if Vinny replayed LSD Dream Emulator and 21 The World. Those games are my aesthetic and I was facinated with LSD for years before I finally played it, although it gets boring really quick if you don't know what to look for. I also wouldn't mind him doing more Space Engine with music in the background because that one you can only find on dailymotion is comfy as hell.

A few come to mind, but in all honesty I just really want Joel to continue the Shadow The Hedgehog game. I have a strange kind of nostalgia for it and seeing him completely lose his shit at the amount of edge the game had to offer (mind you, he didn't even get through 9% of it) was great, sadly he said he'll "give it a fair chance/do a part 2 in the near future" 3 years ago.

Kinda hope someone recommends Joel Mad Max after Lost Paradise. His inner Kenshiro might be appeased by the fanservice, but it's not a very rewarding game, all things considered. It's more memeable (Kenshiro makes fucking burgers using Hokuto no Ken), for sure, but the Yazuka formula gets old really fast, and the driving is probably the worst open world navigation I've seen yet.

It's weird, but of all things, that weird Mad Max game Avalanche made feels like a more realized Fist of the North Star game than an actual Fist of the North Star game.

That first image with the very awkward foot fetish shop is unbelievably fucking funny. It's so awkward and Vin's face is pasted on in such a lackluster way that I can't not laugh at it. These are gold, holy shit.

I expected some shitty baby drawings of Vin but not hilariously goofy pornographic photoshops. Part of me wishes he had the leeway to joke about these on stream without explicitly showing them but I feel like it'd end up encouraging more people to do it for the "vinny laughed at my joke my existence is validated" crowd.

Fucking same. I was sobbing laughing the whole time it was silent, and the fucking sound of him landing like two minutes later was incredible. Although, again, if he had actually done a jump cam he could've knocked out two incentives with one stone - but I digress. It was perfect. Really good Sims 4 stream, too - I was getting sick of them before, but I really enjoyed this one.

Of course they are, but it depends on your taste.
For instance, I get bored by a lot of games they currently play so for the last month I've usually only been around for Vinny's Minecraft streams (because for whatever reason that's when he's mostly being himself) and Sunday streams (as long as they're not boring indie walking simulators). Joel right now seems to be in a very good phase when it comes to entertainment, so basically anything's worth watching. I highly recommend the Sims 4 series he started a week or so ago and Morrowind.

Minecraft has next to no stimuli for streamers to react to when playing alone, because there's no dialogue and the enemies (with few exceptions) can be taken down in two seconds. So the only thing really left to do is just... talk. I think that's why Vinny's Minecraft streams have felt so much more natural - since all he can do is talk, he's going to start showing his true colors eventually. It's pretty refreshing.

Well, that was a long time coming. I knew he was going to get sick of the low quality art eventually. Still, it is a pretty vague description, so I wonder how it's going to impact the amount of art submissions the stream gets. "Low effort" is pretty indefinable by nature, since an artist who's been working on their craft for a long time can produce really beautiful pieces in just a few minutes, while newer artists can spend hours on a piece and it'll look like they doodled it in MSPaint for 5 seconds. So I'm curious as to how this is going to work, implementation wise.
