He maintains that it wasn't rape, but the fact that he blackmailed her into having sex qualifies it as such. More than that, if Marjy admits that it was rape then that would be a huge blow to his worldview. He thinks that rapists get everything they want, women and power alike. The fact that he's a rapist and doesn't have these things would be admitting that he's wrong about fucking everything.

She's also schizophrenic, apparently. I'm definitely not having a go at people with mental illness, but taking her at her "word" regarding pregnancy likely isn't the best move.

The "legitimacy" of her answer would all depend on how well-aware she is. As in, is she on medication and in therapy. I don't expect Marijan to give enough of a fuck to know the answer to that question, and still would take his response with a grain of salt. To a point I'm not even convinced this girl is real.
