I recently became aware of a "gender" situation that very recently was covered on NBC. The mother is a batshit Leftist and a "gender is a social construct anyway" type. I saw the texts. The kid actually said the she isn't trans, just a tomboy and doesn't want to be on camera. Mother said she didn't want to be on camera either yet went on national news and then some.
I had to have a convo with an 11 yr old who goes to school with the kid. Sorry if this is a PL but damn, it's also real life.

Most boys who do girly stuff at young age end up being gay. Is there a chance that Desmond was like this? Maybe. Sadly, it seems like the mother insisted on him acting like a girl because she likes drag. So, even if he only was playfully imitating what he saw on tv, the mother pushed him to keep doing it.
Also, many people have pointed out before that this behavior is highly homophobic. A boy who likes to do "girl" stuff is turned into a girl, which is more "acceptable". You have to just love whenever Social Justice does something that destroy what people fought so hard to build only some years before.

Might be reading it wrong but I think it has more to do with that documentary about Desmond PorkyLou was chilling many pages ago and the award is a mere token of appreciation since what elese do you give to the subject of an uinspired social documentary on Current Year +4. If I remember correctly most of us were mocking it had been thrown in the trash and yet here we are.

I find this odd, because I would have expected at this point for groups and individuals with large public profiles to start distancing themselves from Desmond, not giving him awards.
The establishment is usually quite good at reading the writing on the wall, and planning a few years into the future, any sensible person looking at Desmond knows that this isn't go to end well.
The best result for the SJW/Troon/LGBTQ communities, would be that when Desmond does eventually go off the rails, it can all be blamed on Trans phobia, harassment, haters etc. However i also suspect that the smarter ones are aware that with doing this to children they're pushing their luck, and risk invoking a backlash. Especially when everything the poor talentless kid does is so well documented.

This needed less outrage because snorting coke or smoking weed is so widely known that a kid making those signs isn't necessarily a symptom of everything. Yes, it's awful and it's better they don't do that, but it could mean nothing.
The whole Ketamine thing was odd, though. If you ask me how you take that, I wouldn't know and I'm an adult. The specific way Desmond did it was, many people said, sign of him having seen how it's done.

Both families are a complete mess, but there is more they have in common and it's both media exploiting them for views and good intended morons who believe they're helping them by pandering to them. I remember that HBB (and her people) used to say she had the right to compete because queens come in every size and that could have been an argument if the poor kid wasn't so untalented. She couldn't dance or sing or do anything unlike the other girls. It's the same thing with Desmond. They have zero talent, unless we count being "odd" a talent and people are afraid to tell them that and be called a hater.
