Five Nights At Freddy's

I'm hoping they try to implement the cameras a bit better since they were practically useless in 1 and only for one room in 2. I'm thinking maybe the animatronics could give no warning at all before inviting themselves into the security room and possibly having multiple entry points so you'd basically have to keep checking the cameras or something.

Actually, you need the cams in the first one as well. Otherwise, you wouldn't know if Foxy's attacking, and it's the only way for you to know if Freddy is right outside your door.

Y'know...I find it odd that they explicitly mention that damn paper plate doll that inexplicably could show up in FNaF2's office after leaving its spot in one of the party rooms, but was otherwise never mentioned as existing by the game. Then it pops back up in a box of scrap parts twenty years later (as in FNaF in its entireity happens with that thing in the box o parts) and gets mentioned as something "authentic" on the level of Golden Bonnie. I have to wonder what the deal is, there.

The cams in 1 were actually critical to the game, both in setting up the lore (the only thing still remotely confirming that the kids were stuffed into the suits is the newspaper report clipping detailing the complaints of the nasty state of the animatronics having blood on them - which animatronics shouldn't even have) and serving as a substitute for walking around and getting the creepy atmosphere feeling. The cams only stopped being useful from night 6 on as the animatronics moved so fast that it was easier just to play defense the whole time with rote practiced patterns. It also was the only way to see about half of the halucinations and summon Golden Freddy.

For 2, the cams become irrelevant by night 2 once Puppet and his music box become required (maybe even just night 1, don't recall at the moment) as virtually ALL the animatronics are active and you're too busy trying to fend them all off between winding the box.

I personally found nothing really fun or exciting in the second game, as in there wasn't enough added to make it feel any different than DLC. I really did like the first game but once the second tried giving us more 'story' it took me out of the suspense. Plus I never had to use the cameras, never had to really check on any of the rooms to explore, just sat there checking on the stupid music box having to wind it back up and flashing a light. It felt like a chore, not a game.

The 'story' itself gets less and less scary each time more details are added so I'm not expecting anything great with this third game. Might be some nice screenshots of how the animatronics are posed in each room, but that's all I expect from it. Who knows?

The second game really didn't even give much of a story anyway since it happened right before the Bite of 87 and all the "new" animatronics got scrapped. The only thing that got elaborated on at all was what happened with the guy in the Golden Freddy suit.

Personally...given how phone guy acted in 2...I can't help but wonder if he is actually the so-called "purple man" that's shown in 2 as the real murderer.

Maybe with 2 (perhaps mod material?) they could have had a randomized set become active. So one attempt at night 3 for instance might bring Mangle, Toy Bonnie and Old Chica and Freddy. basically the idea being you'd have a bit of breathing room to check the cameras... which you'd need to do to find out who would be coming after you and where since a lot of them had different methods of approach (like ToyChica and Bonnie attacking from the vents)

I'm actually pretty hopeful for this game. If it's true that there's only one animatronic, then that means the gameplay is probably going to be shaken up a bit instead of just piling on more and more robots. The first two games were very heavy on muscle memory so it would be really cool if, like it's commonly speculated, the one in this game randomly takes on spare parts and forces you to think on your feet instead of just falling into a routine. Would make things much more suspenseful because you don't know what's coming.

Even more so because the rotting old Bonnie is freaky as hell.

I'm thinking that the idea of the game is to keep the new animatronic from raiding the parts bin. Keep it from building other animatronics, y'know? There might be something with the creepy Marionette from the last one, I suspect, but there's no real proof to it.

Also pretty sure the Golden Bonnie is the Shadow Bonnie from FNaF 2. Look at the build of it- fits the outline, and also has the same teeth.

Is it just me, or is Scott implying that the player character of FNaF3 is the killer?
It could depend. Really for all we know, perhaps the player is another security guard on a night shift or perhaps some customer whose experience could get more than what is bargained for.

So, wait, how are night's 6-7 going to be implemented? If there's no paycheck, then...

Or, maybe the player character is testing the haunted house. He keeps coming back because management keeps "tweaking" Mustard Bonnie.

I'm sure a tester would get payment. Even then, said tester could be a sort of worker who may have relation to the new owners (family, friend, etc.) who wants to make money off of this. Either way, we won't know until the game comes out.

Maybe you play as Freddy while he's locked in a life or death battle against zombie Bonnie to reclaim his franchise and free his gang.

I legitimately was spooked by moldy Bonnie popping up at the end of the trailer. I will never learn. *sigh*

This would be super cool. What I liked about the cutscenes in FNAF2 where you were looking from Freddy's perspective was the implication that he was supposed to "protect" the other two from the puppet. (Or that was sorta how I interpreted it anyway.) It'd be cool if you were just trying to gather up the pieces of your old friends and rescue them from the haunted house thing.

Hey guys! Guess how many entrances there are to the office!

Did you guess one?
