But that's basically RT's problem: people tend to be interested in only one or two of their properties, RWBY in this example. It was easy to justify subscribing to First for a year for $35 for that. At $60? You're starting to compete with Hulu and Netflix.

It's safe to assume that by lurking here, Mr. Douglas has developed a sort of perma-tilt, where something entirely unrelated to an unfortunate incident he wants to make it about himself and attack something personally bothering him. Vic Mignogna and the supporters of Vic Mignogna have virtually nothing to do with the El Paso, Texas shooting. How Dougy here even connected those dots shows just how flustered he is. --And frankly it's pretty disgusting in this context, especially.

Suffice to say. It's extremely uneven with their fates. Even if they get dragged into court. It's going to take something of the likes of shit-talking their business partners to seal their tombstone. Right now they are in a weird place between life and death.

You know what's the hilarious part about that announcement? Neo got announced at the same time as a Senran Kagura character, specifically Yumi. Good luck Rooster Teeth!

ISM = Bigotry.

"Sizeism" = Bigotry against fat people (or maybe Short People, but since most of these people are GIGANTIC fat fucks they probably only care about the evil attractive people refusing to date ugly fat fucks)

"Albeism" = Bigotry against disabled people, usually of the "I self diagnosed with Autism because it's a cool superpower like disability and that means you have to put up with me being annoying as fuck" variety.

It's not English, it's made up buzzwords used by the Woke to signal that the person they are talking about is a bad guy. They LOVE word games. One of their favorites is "Motte and Bailey," which is when you give words two meanings and use both at the same time.

For example, did you know only White people can be Racist? Only men can be Sexist? Only Straight people can be Transphobic? This is because Racism is "Power and Prejudice," and Black people may be Prejudiced against white people, but they have no power, so they're only Prejudiced and cannot ever be racist. And besides, the Black people are ALLOWED to be prejudiced against white people, because THEY WUZ KANGS and white people are all racists with all the power in the world.

If you're getting vibes of the later days of the Weimar Republic, don't worry, that's just your knowledge of history brewing. For clarity, replace "white people" with "jews" in the above sentences, and it'll all click.

I dunno, a lot of people were talking about Neo more than Yumi. Which says a lot about what the general fighting audience to be talking about a character that ISN'T from a fighting game. Curious times indeed.

I don't disagree there. They are shooting themselves in the foot for doing that practice. Short term, they will start bleeding subscribers even with RWBY on the air, if this isn't sorted it out. They have been wanting to join the big boys' market for a while now. And they could in a year, or two with the upcoming transformers animated series they are producing.

Right now? It's a stupid decision all around.

Speaking of rehiring, are the dubs for Dragon Ball FighterZ handled by Funi or did Bandai Namco deal with it? Super Broly isn’t in yet and I’m wondering if they already have the lines.

Well, knowing a few women that behave a lot like 'the twins' I'd say they set their sights higher than VAs by now. I'd be looking at the Funi/RT and any anime or con exec for their latest targets. If they've been at this for years, the thrill of a mere VA is long since past.

Burnie burns claimed that Rooster Teeth diversified their revenue streams to something like
-25% from Merch.
-25% from Subs.
-25% from YouTube ads.
I can't remember the other 25.

YouTube ads are down. Subs are going down. If the customer base is shrinking then the Merch is down.

Rooster Teeth has variety to protect them unless something truly catastrophic happens. But I would argue that firing an innocent man is something that would cut across all their customers.
