The only thing I can agree here is seeing both Donald Trump and the GOP to once again blame video games for mass shootings which is dumb in all.

This dumb rhetoric has been around since seeing video games like Mortal Kombat made their debut and then you have national tragedies like that of the Columbine massacre happened where politicians at the time wanted an easy scapegoat for why such national tragedies happen in the first place.

Here's the thing, blaming guns and video games for why crazy people do horrible things is fucking stupid.

Now I do agree with the Democratic Party that video games are not the cause of why mass shootings happen (there is really no solid evidence out there that supports any claims that video games being the cause for these types of national tragedies to happen for the many same reasons of why there is no solid evidence out there that supports any claims that marijuana turns young people into a bunch of insane luntatics just like the ones that are depicted in the infamous anti-drug film 'Reefer Madness'). But what I can't agree with the Democratic Party is them thinking that banning all guns is going to reduce mass murders. Crazy people can and will find a way to commit a massacre one way or another because there are cases in the past where mass murders and terrorists can get creative with their attacks.

Now for the GOP, I do agree that banning guns in all will not reduce mass shootings in general (again, crazy people do get creative in their attacks). However, I always fucking hate it when these politicians in the GOP (and Donald Trump is guilty of this too) have a boomer moment and then they start to blame works of fiction like video games for the cause of society's ills. Again, there is no solid evidence that shows video games being the cause of why some people out there snap and go on a massacre. See if video games were the cause for why people commit acts of terrorism or violence then by now we would see more of this happen more often in other countries where people still buy and play the same violent video games but they also have far lower levels of crime rates per capita. We don't really see tragedies like mass murders happen all that often in where we see many of those same violent video games are sold in those countries because they don't have things such as societal decay plaguing them.

This is why American politics is a fucking joke because our government is still plagued by idiots that are either out-of-touch or don't really know what they are doing anyway.
