That sounds a bit fun, considering how particularly worst girl they probably are. Nick's hinted that they're some sort of scourge in the con community, like succubi except they don't even let you give them a squeeze because they can only commit to doing as much as teasing older, established men so they can feel better about their Code Lyoko-size foreheads.

...okay, so some of that is embellishment on my part, but you get the picture. I'm just really curious because they seem to be the kind of person I have the most distaste for (I'm more baffled by the efforts of Rial and company to have Vic isekai himself-- I have a more grounded hatred for misleading someone about the state of your relationship for shallow reasons).

You can keep calling it a rag, but it is the biggest Newspaper for this area.

Regardless of perception here on KF it is not perceived poorly by it’s intended audience, and unfortunately for Vic, it is a fairly sizable one.

If you lived in DFW this would be the go-to paper.

Also, I didn’t bother to check which version, but I believe the text should all be legible from the image.

We would have heard well ahead of time if that was the case. I'm pretty sure Rackets was at BHBH because he was in town-- he had that trip to visit family, and it was planned nearly a year prior to then.

Why do I feel there's a chance we're a RWBY reboot?

I doubt they would reboot RWBY. Even if they did it wouldn't be like the first three volumes if that's what you are hoping for. They'll toss it off to Crunchyroll, throw out Monty's notes and bastardize it. Less guns, more friendship is magic.

And before anyone gets smart and says "RT already threw out Monty's notes" I will point you to the Sheena Oum thread here on Kiwi Farms where it seems like Monty Oum was borderline cuck territory. So all the soy everyone is complaining about was probably put there by him.

Anyone paying attention can see the writing on the wall that Monica Rial was lying. But with the way RT has been this year, the only thing that would get them to change their minds would be if God ripped the sky open, had the angelic host arrayed around them and God himself scream at them with such fury that the tectonic plates buckle under the onslaught. Even then they probably wouldn't change.

RT could get ahead of the mess by hiring Vic back and show they could be decent human beings if they made a fucking effort. So while they aren't being sued it would look better if they hired him back. It's the difference between "We hired him back because we were wrong" and "We hired him back because there was a gun pointed at our head and if we somehow bullet timed our way out that our fans would burn us to the ground."

As for Vic being replaced, that depends on the contract. I don't believe the Funimation contract made any guarantees about USING the audio tracks. Merely that the contractor would be paid for providing them.

So RT could settle because they know it is coming, issue an apology, postpone RWBY for a month while they redub.

Basically they have to sit down and do the calculus of:

1. Fight, risking lawyer fees, at least 1 million plus potential punitive damages all for woke points.

2. Settle with Vic. Pay him damages, the replacement voice actor probably had a 300 dollar pay check. Pay Vic 300. Pay some audio techs overtime to Redub. Total cost = SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN 1 MILLION DOLLARS.

Matt Hullum not controlling the voice actors is probably more important now because Funimations going to get sodomized with a red hot poker over the "Employee vs Independent Contractor" debate. So the catch 22 is that you hired terrible people that you have no control over but still associate with or you have control over them but are liable for whatever stupid shit they happen to say at any point.

Thing is Hullum was just either that stupid to believe Monica’s extremely poorly made lie because of “Wahmen 2019”, or maybe he was a massive fanboy of hers like she was goddamn Laura Bailey in his feeble cuck eyes that he just took her word for it, without acting like a actual CEO of a company because if 5th Bulma is telling you that someone in your employ is a rapist then by god you better believe it~ I think that Monica could have given the bitch boy some “lemon snowcones” and Matt would eat them without a second thought.

His Highschool bullshit tactics to keep anyone from talking to Vic was just pathetic, but truthfully RT being involved in highschool antic drama nonsense isn’t new;this is the same company who allowed Cuck Cuck Luna and Shawcross to remove one of Monty Oum’s characters from RWBY, after the hilarious meltdown of Kathleen Zuelch where she called them out on their shit which at the time made her seem embittered and jealous in the eyes of others.

Hullum being incompetent, exceptional, and failing to rangle his tards (Luna, Brown, and McCormick) just delivered his company a potential Round 2 while giving Kathleen some credence to her rant.

But hey, at least he got the asspats from Dear Kohai Monica~

Hullum allowed Rooster Teeth to be weaponized against an innocent man so I don't know if there is any coming back from that.

But until we get more communications and a better view of what happened, Hullum may have had no good options. Nearly 2/3rds of RWBY's cast would be in open revolt if Vic stayed and was cleared in an investigation. He may have had to let Vic go or face work stoppages.

The email to Monica looks damning, though I can't tell if it's because he actually believes her or he is simply being emphatic.

If the character you're talking about is Goodwitch I think her role was done.

Have we gotten a look at Rooster Teeth contracts? They might be written in a way that makes voice actors Independent Contractors unlike Funimation.
