Article Yaniv raided / arrested by RCMP

I think it's Yaniv's new job to spread the love of LGBT in Russia. Wax Yanvi's ball Putin.

My vote is for a nice Carribean island.

Why would Langley RCMP help him? They are the ones that have a file full of complaints against him. Starting to think he might have friends in law enforcement.
I'm pretty sure WGkitty is recounting an overheard conversation he had with cops from another detachment. I don't think he's got friends. I think he's just a liar who likes to feel important.

on the one hand i enjoy reading about yaniv getting POLICED hard

on the other hand i really dislike the idea that cops can kick down your door and raid your house over harmless childrens toys like tasers and pepper spray

I agree, however, Jonathan would be the first to try and hide behind Canada's bullshit laws if one of his 'enemies' had a stungun (that's not a taser you plebs, completely different thing) or pepper spray so fuck him. He's also very likely to eventually use it on someone and not in (legitimate) self-defense. The fact that he's brandishing it on camera while he knows it's illegal is telling; he thinks he can do whatever he wants. And because of how cucked the police have been so far, he has good reason.

I wonder if someone other than the normal donut-munchers might have gotten roped in on this situation and passed word down that this creepy freak is not supposed to be above the law.

Alternatively, I'd love to believe that this is some sort of parallel investigation- that they are looking for other shit and this just afforded them an evidentiary opportunity to secure his condo and search if for what they're really looking for (i.e. child pornography or something like that) without tipping anyone off that he may have had contact with. Sure seems like a long time to be searching for a physical object.

It looks like Langley isn't allowed to touch anything this time, the way I'm reading all this.

Is it possible the Burnaby RCMP detachment has the child pornography specialists and Langley does not? Google child pornography Langley RCMP and you get news articles. Google child pornography Burnaby RCMP and you get hits on arrests they have done. Maybe I'm just an optimist.

As far as I'm aware when it comes to getting search warrants for CP you need some clear evidence to link the person and the computers in the premises. These investigations can take a hell of a long time to get to the search warrant stage. Whereas a warrant on a firearms charge can be relatively straightforward. I've heard of cases where someone has a waved a gun at someone to the door being beaten down in under 5 hours. My hope is that because he broadcast his stun gun using a computer that it would somehow fall under evidence relating to this warrant, probably being optimistic though.

I hope they had a warrant for the CP on his computer.
Cant really speak for the moose-people (and trying not to get my hopes up) but I can't see American feds doing an all-night search warrant that bars local cops from participating beyond perimeter security for a simple weapons charge.

Now if they need a few hours to image his PC hard drive and search easily for concealed flash drives/external drives, however...

Uhhhh wait, MY and JY were skulking around the back of the building? Isn't that where Yaniv's balcony is located and somewhat accessible by ladder since it looks to be 2nd/3rd story height? Someone posted that her balcony door was sitting wide open all night......maybe thats me being too stoned but whats the chance they were trying to find a way to access it?

FACT: They actually raided him for publicly disrespecting 'New Canadians'. Now that is horrifying.

'Tazer' wise- are we talking an actual dart shooty tazer, or a stun gun? I'm assuming the latter is also illegal in Canada.

Also, for those talking about a potential CP bust.. loli is also illegal in Canada. Even if he's smart enough to avoid photographed child rape imagery and 'child modelling' content, I'd be shocked if he doesn't have loli.

He named here, posted about her daughters and posted her unit number on twitter then said he's going to make their lives a living hell. The cops KNOW this happened and they know he's making threats on twitter but still turn a blind eye. It was explained to JY last night as members of the public complained RCMP were compelled to act, I guess doing preventitive policing is too hard for Langley RCMP?
Against politically protected classes, it clearly is.

Remember boys, pigs are NOT halaal. I am ashamed that my brothers in the Great Beige North did not have a conversation with this man about his attempts to molest our sisters.

Wouldn't they just confiscate any hardware and do the imaging and forensics back at their lab?

No, he's in the front of the building and is way too fat to climb up even with a ladder.

You don't hold a residence under lockdown for 14 hours just to find a stun gun.
