Jasper Carewatch - ASPCAck-Ack-Ack

I was going through my clips folder and I came View attachment 877790 across these two clips where DSP talks (lies) about maybe looking at getting a cat and claiming his finances don't allow for one. The first clip is from April 24th, 2019 and the second clip is from May 19th, 2019, both from the early stream of those days. That means he had the cat for at least 5 months during the first clip.

It at least captures how DSP acts when he's purposely lying (as opposed to just filling in blanks in his memory on the fly during pre-stream or shit like that).

Maybe looking at getting a cat:

This kind of changes what I thought about Phil. I always knew he was a liar, but I thought he only lied by exaggeration or omission. I didn't think he'd just flatly say no when the answer was yes. And he had absolutely no reason to bring the cat up, either! Why not just not mention the cat, why go into great detail about how there's no way you can get a cat when there's a cat just outside the door? I can understand just not mentioning cats and keeping it secret - if you're a paranoid fucker - but spazzing out about how there's no way you can possibly have a cat for no reason is ridiculous.

I have a feeling there is another reason he revealed it now, we gonna find it out sooner or later.

My guess is that there was a reason why Phil wasn't able to monetize him. Kat didn't want him to, he was too stupid too figure out how, Jasper was too much of a spazzy little kitten and Phil was afraid he would wreck shit, etc. My personal bet is that Kat didn't want part of her life, Jasper, constantly on stream. Phil has probably been trying to convince her to let him use her cat for e-begging for months and she finally gave in.

Dsp is a masterclass moron about his lies. He constantly feels the need to elaborate on the details of the lie and truly entrench himself. Want to know an easy way for Phil to have brushed this lie off outright? "We got the cat a while back, but we didn't want to say anything in case things didn't work out and he needed to be rehomed, but at this point we've decided that hes a good fit here and theres no point not mentioning him anymore"

Tuen again, shouldnt charge fans 1k to tell them you have a cat. Fucking cockroach.

I think it's either a case of Phil didn't think of a way to monetize it until recently or he gained enough impulse control to wait until he needed more spending money. It seems pretty deliberate that he organized this right before his day off, especially when he normally doesn't take Monday's off. Remember how much time he spent on prestreams/tweets the other week painstakingly explaining about how his day off was Tuesday instead of Thursday like usual? I'd say the fact he's asking for more money because he's apparently out again is further proof that he blew everything on his day off, but let's be real, Phil says something like that every day.

I'd be curious to see if he slips up and brags about a big expense, maybe that grill he's been hinting at. Getting it towards the end of summer seems like the kind of thing a street smart guy like Phil would do. I have a feeling it was just a mini vacation though, the usual overpriced food and impulse buying whatever he and Kat see while they're "getting exercise" at the mall.

Pig probably just locks himself away in his manchild cave so Jasper can't go into it and do what most bored cats like to do, which is chew on his cords. Also it allowed him to hide the fact that his beggar routine works so well he can splurge on a cat to keep his trophy happy.

He can peacock all he wants, but the fact he cowardly hid a cat for months to fleece his exceptional individual fans is pathetic. A perfect snapshot into Pig.

It's also telling that cat looked vaguely surprised when Pig put his hand on him for a photo op. It likely means Pig has ignored this critter until he could exploit it. Also telling how happy he was he can show off and honk on about how he's a proper big boy with the cat as his prop; he was dying to brag about it.
Jasper can't go outside due to his claws. He's likely very bored

I think he's fibbing about having the cat for a year because of the way he's going about treating the poor thing. Like he did with his other Khat, he wouldn't shut the fuck up about it and treated it just as another prop and to humanize it. Treats it like a child and is turning into another weird cat owner.

He's lived with cats before but this is just strange. It's like a fresh purchase to him with having it in mind to raise even more money.

Cat personalities vary but generally it is a piece of piss to keep an indoor cat entertained. They just need quality interaction and occasional novelty. It ain't hard.
Considering DSP only "interacts" with things that give him money I'd guess that means this cat will commit suicide within the next month

Eh, Khet has the ability to tell Dave to fuck off when it comes to appearing on the shtreems. Small cat doesn't have the wherewithal to make that decision. This is nothing more than a cash-grab-gamble for the paypigs to POSSIBLY see the cat on shtreem during the cheerssubsandtips-chill-shtreems. If he leaves the office door open so the cat can enter the sty, he's hoping that piggies will drop some coin to get "interaction" with a creature that couldn't care less about the Internet. It's more likely that he'll close the door anyways and claim that Jasper just doesn't want to come into the office, cause he's not one of those cats that wants to be in an office and on shtreem (Khet is the cat expert, but Dave talks about cats like he's the end-all authority on cats).

Phil said he got Jasper "during a time where [he] and Kat were both really down and stressed out, at the worst point of [their] lives", so uh lol DSP literally got a cat to save his marriage, just months into it

He said they got the cat before the engagement. Would that make the engagement and subsequent marriage just a band-aid?

Declawed cats can be more destructive and aggressive, because they've lost their primary means of defence and scratching is a big part of stress relief and territory marking. Anyone who does that to a cat is a scumbag - for a comparison, it's not like having your fingernails removed, it's like having your fingers removed at the first knuckle.

I had some time today and looked into cat declawing.

Between 3 and 6 months of age is ideal.
Typically, our veterinarians suggest you declaw your cat at spay or neuter time.
For many cats, that’s around 5 or 6 months of age. If your kitten is already spayed or neutered, we may perform the declaw surgery earlier.

And
How much does cat declawing cost?
Average Price: $100-$250
High Price: $250-$450

Since Phil said his cat is also spayed let's roll with the 5 to 6 month range to declaw cats. He claims he has the cat for about a year now, give or take. Also the cat is very young, as he said.
To me that makes no sense, I'm really confused. So the previous owner paid let's say 200$ to have the cat declawed only to put it in some animal shelter? And just days later Phil and Kat show up to rescue this exact kitten that has no claws and thus can't destroy Phil's shit.

I really can't buy this shit and I will look deeper into it.

I think I know what Phil is doing, but I obviously can't prove it. He's vague because he knows someone could look into this cat since we have location / name of cat / picture. And if we had proof that he got that fucker declawed people would not be happy.

im 99% sure phil was the reason the cat was declawed. we know he is a absolute terrible "human" and he does care more about his high end furniture than a living being. we also know he is a real bitch who cant handle any pain or suffering and is afraid of getting scratched (hopefully the cat will bite him and he develops a nasty infection). he is also kind of dumb so he probably thought declawing a cat is like clipping nails for a human.

As long as the cat can get DSP payed it will be his best friend, expect it to become his new mascot. I can't wait for the begging stream where the cat has a mysterious illness and he needs $$$$$ to pay for it. Begging will diversify and intensify.

Potentially unpopular opinion, but I think you're diving in a little too deep. Phil probably lied because, well, he's Phil. I'd be skeptical about Phil making a random remark about the weather because he'd probably find some reason to lie about that. Come to think of it, he does like to insist Seattle is melting when it's around 70 degrees. We don't need to do a deep dive to catch him in yet another lie when there's plenty of video examples of him outright lying. We've already had people getting a little too passionate about the cat, like contacting people who lost a cat to see if Phil stole theirs.

Regarding adopting a declawed cat, I hate to say anything that is remotely supporting Phil, but it's not like it's hard to search for declawed cats put up for adoption. I did a quick google search and the first couple of first page results all had a checkbox for declawed. You can even specifically look for declawed kittens. It sounds like Phil (or more likely Kat) went through a larger agency if Phil says it came from Arkansas or wherever. As for the age of the cat, it could be a case of someone with money to burn investing in a new cat, getting it declawed, and then putting it up for adoption because it didn't work out. Could have been more responsibility than the person wanted, the cat not getting along with existing pets/people, the cat running away etc. I'm sure it is relatively uncommon as far as adoption cases go, but I don't think it is impossible.

The other argument is I have a hard time imagining Phil investing that much time/money into getting the cat declawed and not bitching about it, especially when there's just the simpler option of getting a cat declawed right off the bat. That's generally the Phil approach to everything. That being said, I'm also guessing Khet is the one who has done anything cat care related so it is possible they did get a non declawed cat under the condition Khet gets it declawed. IMO, the only people who would care are us. I can't imagine there's a paypig who is perfectly okay with being scammed out of 2k to look at a cat, but change their tune when they find out Phil declawed the cat. It just feels like we're getting into SoK territory trying to dox a cat of all things. Declawing a cat is pretty awful so I can definitely understand where people are coming from, and it is done entirely by selfish/lazy people like Phil who want a pet but don't want to take time to provide/train/care for it. If Phil is really lying about it, he'll naturally slip up because Phil is a terrible liar.
