Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

So in one week we have gone from, in this thread, "the left is doomed due to their radicalization" to "we have to make concessions and impliment gun control now or we will lose!".

The grim reality of the situation is there will be more mass shootings in the future, and this is one of the reasons I think in the long term the right wing is screwed. Nothing ever goes back, it just becomes the new taboo, and what was once a normal opinion becomes reactionary.

These are concessions, not compromises: every one given out is one out that will not be ever undone short of the supreme court saying so.
I would like for us to not have to make decisions that solve nothing but make people feel better in order to appease a reactionary public. However that's not the world we live in.

You should be able to expect voting age adults to recognize rational, well thought out responses, including sometimes doing nothing. And in theory you can. But in practice you can't.

Don't eat a big dinner before your workout, Michael.

That link gave me cancer.

If you're going to use a tweet to make a point embed a screenshot:

It's not rocket science, and it makes your posts more readable. If you're going to be autistic, at least make it easy on people to see what you are REEEEEing about.

Also, is your main issue with Trump guns or the Jews? You said you won't vote for Trump because he made a conciliatory remark about gun control after a tragedy, then spent 3 pages raving about the Protocols of Zion. I'm not a huge fan of Israel either, but you're not helping your cause with your behavior.

Are you illiterate? I've stated many reasons in my posts other than guns and kikes.

What are you conservatives conserving again?

There is an article about why making emotionally reactive policy in response to a tragedy or attack after each one. Every one is welcomed and cheered for its sagacity by a public that has cooled off enough to understand the words. Then the exact same calls for reactive policy that achieves nothing and wouldn’t have stopped the attack happens in the wake of the next one.
Shit’s practically a joke now but it keeps happening. Maybe this time the house-senate split will keep anything from being done long enough for it to no longer be hot and controversial. I’m not holding my breath though.

You're right, keep acting like a predictable hothead, keep losing because you're mentally incapable of thinking more than a step ahead. Then wonder why you've lost every battle over the past 50 years and why a liberal is currently the only thing standing between you and complete annihilation.

Conservatives lose every battle because they bend over backwards for the left. Like all the cucks in this thread ready to give up their rights just because daddy Donald says it's OK now.

I was happy to hear Nancy Pelosi was resisting calls to cancel the end of the August recess and return early to pass new gun control.

Great! Let her take the heat!

1st and 2nd amendment. But you're the guy that didn't know the JIDF was a thing so I guess we have to spoon feed you everything. For the pink panther you are a terrible detective.

Lol you don't have to spoonfeed because your observations are bullshit. DT has not done a single thing to infringe upon the 1st and 2nd amendment rights, while promoting more of the former than the latter.

And why would any normal person even care about JIDF is unless you were a Jew or unless you are outwardly finding reasons to hate the Jews?

And one more thing:

also the Pink Panther wasn't the detective, it was the jewel, nigga.

This is why the school system sucks right now. We have incompetent assholes who don’t take five minutes out of their time to listen to the potential dangers they might achieve.

The Parkland situation was even more macabre in terms of corruption allowing that tragedy to happen: the school board/school explicitly handcuffed the cops so they could rig the stats for violence/suspensions due to violence to get bonus funding based on meeting certain stats related to low incidents of campus violence. Had they not been rigging the stats, the shooter would have been long expelled from the school and in juvie hall if not adult jail for past misdeeds.

I'm always curious as to how Democrats think a forced confiscation on guns would go. There are plenty of liberal judges and police commissioners but statistically rank and file police officers and enlisted men and women tend to not be very friendly to leftist causes.

They expect the police and military to mindlessly obey them on any gun grab. With the military as the trump card if the local police refuse to confiscate everyone's guns; their logic being that cops are drones who will do as they are ordered, along with the "carrot" that is the cops/military will get to be the only people WITH guns if the general population are disarmed and that will make them special snowflakes that will do anything to keep their special exemption and keep their "toys".

I want politics to be boring again

The only times politics is boring is when you are a kid and too dumb/sophistic to care about the world around you.

To all the idiots freaking out about Red Flag this or that I pose a question.
How many times have we been through this?
Every time theres a shooting we go through this circus of "Doing something" and "This time it's different " but you know what also happens every time theres a shooting?
Nothing thats what.
In two weeks we will be right back where we were before El Paso and Dayton talking about how Biden has challenged Trump to 4 minute mile or something.
I don't how some of you still get roped into this emotional shitshow every time.
Just unplug for a week or two if it bothers you that much and it'll be fine.
It sucks but thats how it goes.
We'll self flagellate for a bit and then forget this shit ever happened beyond stock Fuck Drumpf takes on Reddit.

Trump really must of got new people invested in politics for people to get so upset over him not doing every single thing he said he was going to to a 110%.

It happens all the time. Remember all the babies who thought he was going to be the exactly the same as Bush and Obama when he tomahawked that airport? Or how he became Pelosi's lap dog when he ended the shut down stand off?

No politician hits half the marks they promise on the campaign trail, but I think Trump's been the closest to that in my life.

Yet, all these people who think the President has the authority of God, that he has a narrow scope of power that he has to work with in to achieve this goals. And they burn their red hats when he doesn't just enact whatever they desire in the manner they desired.

Seriously though, why the hell does anyone don’t can’t see AT&T selling off CNN in a effort to prevent TDS from damaging their profits and pissing off their shareholders? I know it’s wishful thinking, but still, what would they lose if they got rid of CNN and sold it to someone else that makes bigger profits with it?

I've mentioned this before but AT&T won't sell CNN because:

1. It's an important legacy media institute (the very first 24-7 Cable News outlet) and people would scream tears if they sold it/shut it down
2. It's arguably the crown jewel of the entire Turner TV empire
3. It' a cable news network and you'd be insane to give it up given the influence you can wield with such a tool
4. For better or worse, the network went from third place loser to suddenly being talked about by EVERYONE once Trump got elected, so even if it's losing money, the brand/network has suddenly become relevant in a way that makes shutting it down/selling it problematic in terms of justification

At the end of the day, AT&T is allowing the shit show at CNN continue due to a combination of them AGREEING with the lies they spew, along with the cost-risk analysis that says the brand hasn't been harmed irrevocably enough to cut bait just yet. It's not like HBO, which AT&T considers to be the "problem child" of the TV networks they now own, because HBO is "underachieving in spite of it's popularity" whereas CNN is unpopular as hell but pulls the bare minimum in all of the things that AT&T considers to be a success and as such, not worth "fixing" like they are trying to "fix" HBO.
