It's fine, adding stuff to poutine is normal and anyone complaining about it isn't actually a native Quebecois. Literally every poutine joint has a a dozen types of poutine for sale, like galvaude or god forbid poutine with spaghetti sauce which is very popular for some reason.

Spaghetti sauce on Poutine. Right up there with sriracha. Next think you know, they'll be putting pineapples on it.

Actually, that last one kinda sounds delicious. Yup....

nope looks good though

You poor poor deprived soul. Go find the link to the recipe that I posted earlier. It's an easy make. Your friends and family will instantly love you. Maybe a little too much. Share the recipe. The USA must learn to make nanaimo bars - those chocolate-covered soft pudding square thingies I keep finding down there are an abomination.

Honestly, it makes me sad how much people are shitting on us 😔 it’s also disheartening knowing how flawed our systems are especially when people take advantage of them. I love it here and always will, but sometimes ignorance truly is bliss.

Why are the RCMP so cucked by the CBC? Discuss.

They're not, really. In fact, the CBC is cucked. Supposedly independent, yet publicly-funded and therefore tends to be interfered with by the government of the day. Reporting quality has gone for shit, and they're the first to "back off" a news story or go light for fear of angering the political gods.

The RCMP has issues of their own, but they're cucked by the justice system in the wrong places, and overzealous in others.

Por que no los dos? Most of Canada is cucked because it has no counter-culture. Most publications are government funded, and the CBC will only report according to their bias.

The RCMP seems to only advance their progress when ceded ground by whatever the CBC is publishing. No major charges will be brought, because the RCMP is afraid of bad press. People don’t like them as it is.

"Most publications are government funded"??? The RCMP won't lift a finger without the CBC publishing something? Let me guess, you're a yank? Where the fuck do you get your misguided info from?

The CBC is the only government-funded media (and even then, it's only partially-funded with taxpayer money). The rest is all privately-controlled by just a handful of media moguls. They also give plenty of black-eyes to the RCMP when warranted.

Disgruntled Canadians who have been complaining to me about the RCMP and CBC for about two weeks now.

No canuck is going to tell you that all media is government funded because it's patently untrue. So where you really getting your misguided info? Or are you just assuming?

Look - there's plenty wrong here. But to assume we don't have guns, the media is state-controlled, we have death-lists for healthcare (or whatever fucked-up lies you're being fed this week), and that the RCMP are just rural police are all bat-shit crazy FUD.

The RCMP are cucked by the crown prosecutor's office. They also have internal issues with some of their top-brass. Can tell you for a fact that no officer - especially in the RCMP - would have condoned Yaniv possessing a prohibited weapon. RCMP members are "posted" and said "postings" are randomly moved around to prevent members from forming those type of relationships with civvies. Also, members that get found out for that kinda shit get their posting moved to somewhere undesirable. You know, like the great white north. Where food gets flown in once a month.

As for the media - the mainstream media is all left-leaning. It sucks, there's no Fox-equivalent here.

lol I never made any claims about death lists or guns not being allowed into the shining bastion of unity that is Canada. Eat some timbits and calm down. My “sources” are just pissed off Canadian women that have been speaking to me since this all started. As something worse than a Yank, I don’t have much experience with your commonwealth governments or mainstream media outlets. My original post was a shitpost meant to encourage discussion, not trigger a poor leaf into banner waving. Thanks for the info though. Nobody had mentioned the crown prosecutor’s office so far.

The intention of my original post was more geared toward an interest in discussing your last point - what seems like biased state news sources, a lack of counter-culture or differing narrative, and the slow wheels of Canuck justice.
I agreed that it sucks that there isn’t more than one story being told in the media, and that it mostly is just about the waxing and not about the aestheticians and other women affected by his predatory behavior.
It would also seem like saving face is a major part of operating in Canada, which is a frustration that people have been expressing to me about the police, government, and media.

Most of Canada's problems stem from Pierre Trudeau and his Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

He made bilingualism and hate speech the law. The bureaucracy and legal system is clogged with trendy middle class people from Montreal and every lawyer is basically socjus.
