I've seen these people say with a straight face that a dude in men's clothing, short hair, just a totally normal straight dude doing totally normal straight dude stuff is a "woman" and a "lesbian" if he says he is. Likewise, a straight girl who wears dresses and makeup, even full-on lolita fashion, is a "gay man" if she says so. You literally don't have to do anything to be trans anymore than say you feel like it. And that's legit according to the activists and community.
