Yaniv is the perfect example of why the trans movement needs gatekeeping (actually needed it ages ago). He's set them back probably by a decade single-handedly, and if I was a hysterical tin-foil-hat-wearer, I'd say he's a deep cover alt-right plant to discredit trannies (but no, he isn't, trannies made this bed themselves).

Congrats, Johnny, you've done more damage to trannies than any TERF, Nazi, or right-winger could hope to! If I were a tranny, I'd be fucking furious. I'm not, though, so instead I find it hysterical.

The trans movement will never push for gatekeeping. That would mean some of those "brave stunning transwomen" wouldn't be able to bully their way into women's sports, bathrooms, lesbian bars, etc. and that will never do. After all, it's fundamentally a movement about destroying women's boundaries so men can get in, when you get right down to it.

I'm not confident that Yaniv has set them back at all, unfortunately. Sure, some people will go "oh god what have the troons wrought" or whatever, but for the most part... I don't know, if a troon (Dana Rivers) literally slaughtering two lesbians and their son, apparently because they wouldn't fuck him, didn't set them back, why would some litigious pedo?

The difference is that murder was clearly illegal and that person was clearly insane.

Yaniv is using the trans label as legal sword and shield, to deflect all criticism and to force people against their will to do shit they don't want to do, otherwise be put out of business.

I dunno. I just see how many rapists, murderers, harassers of women, violent men, etc. populate the trans movement, who have done vile things and had no consequences to them and their movement, and I find it difficult to believe that one pedo freak is going to somehow accomplish what all of them failed to do and actually damage the trans movement, you know? When you've seen a troon openly admit to raping young transmen with the intention of getting them pregnant to fulfill his deviant fantasies of "raising a nonbinary baby" and then still go on to have an uncriticized activist role in the trans movement including speaking at a women's march and (iirc) a dyke march, and the trans movement go unquestioned for elevating this person and allowing them to be a face for their movement... I just don't know.

Frankly I think that conservative and liberal powers-that-be both have too much of a vested interest in allowing the trans movement to flourish (conservatives because it means destroying women's rights and gay rights as well as taking away the language women and gays need to talk about their own issues and even their bodies, liberals because it makes them feel like the ultimate defenders of social justice or whatever) to allow it to be seriously damaged by any one individual. Their handmaidens will just handwave all of this away with a No True Troonsman and it'll disappear just like all the other cases of horrible acts by troons.

The difference is those are just horrible people that just happen to be trans (their words).

Meanwhile Yaniv is commiting horrible deeds in the name of being trans. Literally every single misdeed they've done has been motivated or aided by the very fact they are trans.

If Yaniv didn't have all the privileges and protections of being trans, most of their shit wouldn't happen or be tolerated.

As far as I know Dana Rivers is not insane and wasn’t when he murdered the Wright-Reed family. Though reports are scarce, the most likely reason had to do with a property dispute. If Rivers has been “insane” then arguably more people would be coming to his defense— the poor lunatic troon absolutely driven to murder!

But that hasn’t happened. The story has been buried by the MSM because to show a longtime trans activist murdering a interracial lesbian couple and their black son, in San Francisco no less, would serve as a huge wake up call, as @Sourceress points out.

It’s the same with Yaniv; still very little MSM here in the states because everyone knows that those not infected with the SJW STD would start saying, WTF is going on?
