How has Phil lived his whole life with his parents cats and still doesn't know anything about cats?? Every time Jasper does something he pretends to lose his fucking mind over it. Is he too autistic to understand cat mannerisms? Or is he just trying to pretend to be a moron to hype up his cat for shekels? That's the eternal DSP question, isn't it?
Also, his face is horrifying and the way his jowls flab around he honestly looks like a face transplant recipient.

Man it's like he has never been around a cat before with the way he talks and explains simple cat things. I still think he just recently acquired it giving how much he puts it on a pedestal and keeping that thing a secret for a year isn't Phil like.
Either way he's just a terrible liar and there are always holes in his stories whenever he opens his mouth.

I just noticed in a random screenshot of Phil's Twitter that he has over SIXTY TWO THOUSAND tweets. He created his account in september of 2010, but I can't imagine he started really using it until a few years later. Even so, if we assume that he's been actively using it the entire time, that means he posts about 20 tweets PER DAY on average. If we say he started actively using it in 2013, it's 30 tweets per day. Every single day. Busy man "full adult life" 38 year old Phil Burnell tweets more than most teenagers.
It also looks like he made a secret new year's resolution to be on Twitter less, since his activity has halved in 2019. Maybe he'll reveal that next for $2000.

He's glued to twitter. Everytime he mentions finding out about something on social media, it's always twitter. Why he says social media I have no clue because that would imply he reads reddit as well. Unless he has admitted to going on reddit then nevermind.

Wouldn't be surprised if Phil just revealed what he did with the 2k on his day off. Normally I'd say this is me donning a tinfoil hat, but after everything that's happened with Phil lately it doesn't seem impossible. With something small like games I think Phil is just fishing for someone to buy him whatever he wants before a stream, but with something big like this it sounds more like Phil is looking for someone to reimburse him for something he already purchased. I'm glad to see at least some people are calling him out for it. Even if he hasn't purchased it yet, using that specific language after his latest scam is just mind boggling.
This is going into tinfoil hat territory now, but wouldn't it be funny if Phil was looking for new pets to buy so he could do a future reveal stream? His tax fundraisers/marathons/whatever haven't really been too successful lately, but the Jasper reveal was a return to form. I think Phil genuinely believes his viewers are happy with the Jasper reveal and have embraced this new "cat expert" version of Phil, so he might be thinking he can capture lightning in a bottle twice with a fish reveal.

I still don't believe he had the cat for a year unless I see some evidence of release. There's no reason to hide the fact he's had a cat sitting in his house for a year unless to cover up his bullshit about bills and was lying about having to pay them, while having a pet.

He actually did leave the room for a bit. There was a brave soul that watched the whole unedited video (ripped from when he got released from Curse and all his videos were unprivated) and confirmed he left for a few minutes and came back to stream.

I think most of the behavior people are atributing to 'Phil recently getting the cat' can be explained as well by this living muppet going full clown-mode to try to "sell" his cat to his audience of speds for moar munny.
I guess I would be interested in what people's theories are as to why he is telling this lie?
Like maybe: He's lying and pre-dating his ACKquisition of Jasper to a time-period he can claim he needed the cat to cure his """clinical depression""" brought on by people not giving him enough munny, so that his buying a cat now wouldn't fuck-up his begging narrative. He's already admitted that a main motivator for hiding the cat was to not fuck-up his begging narrative.
What are other people's reasoning as to how a lie like that would make sense? Like theories beyond just 'He's a pathologically lying tard.'

If Phil is lying about the acquisition of the cat, I think it would be mostly just to obscure things. Phil seems to be increasingly aware that by concealing concrete details, it just makes it harder to piece things together, so detractors at least have to do leg work. This was the case with his history with Kat, how they met, started dating. Then if an incident like Subaru man happens, he can claim he has never officially said anything and it's a conspiracy. This has allowed him to dodge the scam of raising money to fly her around and lying about being single - nobody could pin that down until after.
This also moves the acquisition of Jasper to the Tut/E7 timeframe so that he could, conceivably, have had some extra money floating. If it was recent, then the flak that he got for lying about taxes to cover his marriage trip would be compounded by this. I think with the way he dialed down the fundraisers for a while, he knows he is on thin ice there.

The timing honestly. Why now of all times? From the times I've been tuning in, he has been pulling the "worst financial situation he has ever been in" shtick, until the cat starts coming in. Autism incoming.
He is acting like a total weirdo about it. Like he has never been around a cat before in his life despite his parent's three(?) cats. He went from talking about his wife at every turn when she first moved in, to now talking about his own cat all the time since its appearance. He kept her hush hush for a bit, even acting like he was eating hungry man with no heat. Then you get the reveal of her, even just a little crappy photo of her from behind a month later.
It really didn't take long for him to show off something like this. She moved in 3 months later and then the live reveal and just in time for Valentines Day. His now wife, a person. Promises of how she will help with the bills, cleaning, cooking and what not that he objectifies her to. Also promises of will do cooking crap with her which never happened. Quick to marry.
For him to hold a cat secret for that long, something he has already shown to m.ilk the fuck out of right before it comes out the gate, just doesn't seem right. Now he's talking about all the pahsitive things it can bring to the stream, from emotes to even merchandise, and also promises that it MIGHT show up so better tune in for his CHILL streams. Totally trying to monetize it.
Also let's keep in mind of him on how he is glued to twitter 24/7. He knows these types of trends when he sees them. He will do anything to stay relative to feed his ego. Warning: Autism

- Youtubers coming out about depression. Till this day he has said he had depression so he can fit in.
- ProJared made fun of him so now he can be petty and clapback, while making him seem like he's not as a big of a joke as people think he is.
- Etikas death. Didn't even know the guy. The type of youtubers he has made fun of(LOUD REACTION DUDE). Tried to tie in his issues on to himself about depression and made it all about himself. Monetized the video.
- Youtuber/Alinity on cat throwing, and animal abuse. What perfect time for him to reveal he has a cat all of a sudden. He shows it off and pretend he is all of a sudden an animal lover and to tweet about how to care for pets all of a sudden. Also HappyCatDay.
Every thing he does is for money.

Man cowboy hat Phil is easily the worst Phil, visually at least. Something about it makes him look so punchable. Not out of anger it's more like an instinct.
