If you're on suicide watch then they take away your clothes and anything that you could potentially use to harm yourself or the prison staff. There is absolutely zero way anyone that was actually on suicide watch could kill themselves.

Yeah if he was on suicide watch--and since all of these "he was placed off of suicide watch" stories are all still anonymously-sourced reporting so I don't believe them yet-- and he still managed to actually commit suicide, that alone is a massive scandal all by itself. Epstein, 66, was in his federal jail cell in downtown Manhattan but was not on suicide watch at the time of his death, multiple people familiar with the investigation told NBC News. He had apparently hanged himself, and was found unresponsive at around 6:30 a.m. ET.


His death comes a little over two weeks after he was found injured and in a fetal position in his cell at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. He was semiconscious with marks on his neck at the time.

In July, two sources told NBC News that Epstein was on suicide watch.

Is there a time limit for suicide watch..? And if so, who let the Clintons determine that length?
