To make my sarcasm as obvious as possible without resorting to reddit tier shit. The other interesting thing is that Rich was covered in scrapes and bruises. Someone took the the time to rough him up, shoot him in the back, but didn't take anything and police suspect that it was hardened criminals with a string of armed robberies in their wake. I never delved into him being the DNC leaker conspiracy, but people saying his death isn't suspicious are being disingenuous. It was odd to say the least.

Like they were trying to drag him away, it would seem.

Pros aren't just going to beat on you to get something out of you. There's better ways to make someone hurt. One of them will get you a little wet and red (or blue) in the face, and that's about it.

You know what would be really interesting that I never see anyone bring up? What if the killers did take something? Something they were told he was carrying or had previously taken? Something police or his parents wouldn't know he had. What if he wasn't a leak, but he was going to be one?

That'd be crazy, actually. He wouldn't have been stupid enough to carry it normally- that's something that goes in a sock, or at most inside your jail purse. But I remember they said his pockets hadn't been gone through, it was just a straight up 'he's roughed up and shot'. I think they tried to abduct him and he got away and ran.

I've known instances of two inmates strangling themselves while wearing turtlesuits in the tanks, with essentially bare hands.

The trick uses leverage more than weight, and something to trap the hand; bunk frames, fixtures, or in these cases, an open tray port. They did it by kind of squatting, back against the door & locking one wrist/hand over a shoulder thru the port.

One kicked/splayed his feet out and dropped straight down (like a goalie stance), free hand behind the back under his turtle suit. From what I understand, they didn't struggle to free themselves much (if at all).

The other guy did much the same, only he pulled loose enough turtlesuit stitching to lash his free arm down, and fell to the side.

Those anti-suicide suits are tough, but they can still be deconstructed and used to suicide with.
