There is nothing to gain but defending his pride by proving the trolls wrong. It must be important to him because he did make the video of the baby, when there was nothing else to gain by doing it. To me this video serves as evidence that he wants to prove himself right more than he wants to perpetuate the mystery for publicity. I think if he had the means to prove he had a real wife he would.

He wants satisfaction now and somehow he believes it's better to make people think he's got an impossibly hot wife already by way of elaborate sockpuppet operations and heavily edited or staged photos "proving" this woman exists, because then at least he already has jumped ahead to "achieving" the life he wants without having to do any of the work of being in an actual relationship with an actual woman.

But rewind. This isn't the first time Peter Coffin has been in the spotlight for embarrassing himself. John, as an aspiring comedian, has kicked himself in the balls on national television.

I want to point out the name of that video is "Guy Kicks Self in Nuts (petercoffin.com)", which is pretty plainly clickbait material as it's hosted on his channel.

There are some people skeptical that Peter is making stuff up. Perhaps it's a matter of simplicity. Why would anyone go through so much trouble to have a fake girlfriend? That defense would be much more viable if peter hadn't already done this before and gotten caught.

I can't even sum this up as it's its own epic. Encyclopedia Dramatica may be of more help. In short, he pretended to have a fake girlfriend that was a real girl in the past. It also involved a Cease and Desist letter of dubious quality.

He later claimed he was "catfished", or basically strung along by the girl.

So after Coffin started aggressively inserting himself into drama for the hopes of obtaining some more Patreon gold (something he continues to aggressively advertise every day on Twitter and in all of his social media), #GamerGate diligents noticed just how fucking weird that girlfriend of his was. The most incriminating thing is her death-clutch on her phone, the fact she's never standing on her own (always with Peter behind her, or in an awkward kneeling position), and a basic lack of life in her face. If you're even at all familiar with Peter, you've seen them. That's basically the premise of all this drama.

A person came out and claimed a private investigator did a report on Coffin and it seems to add up a lot of what people had been suspecting. The content is here:

As for Ashleigh herself, her background is questionable, her posts are always 100% in steadfast defense of Peter and written in a very dubious way that would belie an actual female author. She's also extremely attractive, and despite this, claims she's never had sex with anyone but Peter.

So when you piece together Coffin what you get is:

• Someone who is okay with humiliating himself.
• Someone who has no problem telling lies.

When you piece together Ashleigh, you get:

• Someone who has no reason to be in the united states.
• Someone with a questionable background.
• Someone who looks like a doll.
• Someone who's existence is entirely devoted to Peter.

Even his Social Justice schtick is just that. Don't believe me? I'm not exactly Anita Sarkeesian, but I'm pretty sure ridiculing male to female transsexuals for still having their biological genitals isn't a part of their M.O.

Also, in regards to the hospital, if it's a university hospital then they should have a place where the med students practice. I have a family member who works at a Uni hospital and they have an entirely different building for med students to practice. It's very possible that he could have just gotten into one of the student buildings and faked the birth there, if one exists.

If this all isn't a very good fake with all the effort he puts into it then it is a very good attempt at making things look fake. It would take very little to put out evidence that couldn't be faked and would put things to rest. Either way it's all lies and deception. Just a side note.. if all this is real and Ashleigh is really a doll and he stole someone else's baby.. does that mean Peter basically gave up on the idea of a real relationship with a woman?

I mean, at least with Kimi, if an actual woman took interest in him, he could reasonably he and Kimi broke up and the real girl wouldn't think anything of it. But now, if he theoretically met a real woman who was interested in him, and wanted to trade his fake life for a potentially real one.. what would he do? He couldn't just pretend the doll wife left him and disappeared, because he'd still have to see the kid once in awhile, and even if he didn't there would be some evidence (or lack of) a child for the rest of his life to deal with.

So was he pretty much just planning on never getting with a real woman, ever? Or just didn't think that far ahead? You seem to be incredibly lucky to have never known anyone in real life who could do stupid shit like kick themselves in the balls and also think it's amazing. No, that sort of thing is classic for the sort of people who are desperate for some form of attention or validation. They might play it off as "Oh lol It's just some crazy thing I do no bigs..." but then behavior like Pete's in regard to the whole Kimi Kobayashi thing invalidates that whole theory that he doesn't give a fuck what people think of him. He's very clearly an extremely insecure man. He knows people laugh at him - but for reasons he doesn't want them to. So he's taken up this comedy thing in an attempt to change that. Unsurprisingly, this doesn't work because you can't try to be funny. Either you're witty and can present your ideas in an amusing way or you can't, and you flail about wildly while people either ignore you or laugh at you.

In my opinion it's fairly clear that this wife of his is a doll, that this Susan Burt person is an acquaintance who maybe lets him take care of her kid because reasons. Possibly there's some unhealthy obsession on his part considering how much the doll looks like her, but from what Facebook posts have been posted, they're definitely not married, and nor is that baby his - either biologically or legally. In any case, whatever the real Ms. Burt thinks is going on isn't what's actually going on and it's really fucking creepy.

So then the options here are that Ashleigh is real and some form of relation to Susan Burt and both their kids look remarkably similar (not impossible), Peter Coffin is some Andy Kaufmann level comedian who's just doing this for a larf (again let's look at the Kim Kobayashi meltdown and say that's got about a snowball's chance in hell), or Peter Coffin is an insanely insecure person who's scrabbling for some form of approval and is just unstable enough to go to some amazing lengths to make up a believable story. My money is on the latter because, as far-out as some of this is, I had to grow up with my father whose pathological lying and fabrications make Peter look like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar.

Yes I do. Things are different if you believe people are laughing with you instead of at you. Jace is a performer that will embarrass himself to entertain his fans but is still self conscious enough that he hates being laughed at and will freak out when it happens. Self-deprecating humor is fine when your in control. However this might not be one of those times. This seems like people started laughing when they weren't supposed to.

This is very plausible and could be why he made the video. I guess it serves as a double edge sword by being proof of the baby's existence and his claims but at the same time, revealing a lack of proof of his wife and acknowledging the trolls as people he needs to prove something to. I admit I'm only thinking about this as someone that watches weird people on the internet for fun and not an average person. Also who is his target audience in this scenario? Is the average person seeing this going to support him or just shrug and move on? I haven't watched any of his videos and don't plan to, so I can't say how effective his publicity stunt is.

I'm in nursing school right now and we do have sim labs in the university building. One would imagine a school building with a lab built to be identical to a hospital room would be slightly easier to break into than a hospital sub-section devoted to labs? You can walk right into my building, but you need to be with a class or have a key to get into the sim labs themselves. (And afaik you need a pass just to get into any non-visitor hospital section in my hospital, but yours may be different.)

If he managed to get himself into a sim lab to take photos with his doll and not get caught I'd be mighty impressed. Those things are kept locked up tight, and where would he have put the actual sim during the photos? The beds are always filled, since it's easier just to keep the "patients" nestled in their beds rather than move them about more than is absolutely necessary. So he'd have to get into the locked lab, unhook the real sim, put it somewhere without hurting it, get his doll in, take pics, get the real sim back in, rehook the real sim, and pull it all off with no one investigating why the dude no one recognizes is sniffing around the four-figure sims.

Of course, at this point, I'm not even sure what is real... so it's not out of the question the photos were taken in a sim lab? I just don't know how he'd pull it off. My brain hurts.
