Yea... he previously said he could have been a general, but the recruit officer was too "cocky" and he never went back. Nobody tells dsp "oh, you will be back".

basically: it's greed.. IT'S GREED. Greed is.. massively strong.

He always tries to aim a little higher whenever he hits a sub-goal. He doesn't realize that gifted subs are the reason he's hitting these fucking stupid goals in the first place, and the dips towards the end of the month are going to kill him.
You must be out of the loop, because the initial sub-goal was 625 for like a week. Not only is anything beyond 600 greedy and unrealistic, but the fact that he keeps lowering it until it's within reach for his paypigs is beyond disgusting too.
Outlining his sub-goal shenanigans throughout the months is hella easy;

august 1: "I know guys, I KNOW, 625 could be a reach, but let's try to hit it together, okay?"
august 10: *doesn't mention that he lowered the goal* "We're not far off of the 600 sub-goal guys. I really wanna hit it *hint hint*"
august 20: "We've seen a huge dip in subs, but that's only natural guys *sniff*. HOWEVER, 550 is perfectly doable, and I know that some generous party will come through and make this begtrospective event happen!"
august 27: Let's check the sub count.. 478! We've actually gained a few subs. Okay everyone, just 22 to go so we hit the 500 sub-goal! 3 days to go you guys!"

imagine announcing a sub-goal and gradually lowering it because your "natural and organic growth" was never a thing to begin with. Delusional pig will always be delusional.

UMM no that's not actually what happened at all. I was top of my class in the academy in the unm... shooting test that they give you. What I would do is UMM camp out in the bathroom because of my herniated back you know what I mean? But I had a terrible terrible TERRIBLE drill sergeant who RAMDOMLY chose to discharge me because he said I belched in his face with absolutely no proof!

We came across this umm... army? yeah, army of rebels who were being complete and utter pussies using offline military tactics and camping out in a hospital you know what I mean? I was uhh on patrol and I shot at this guy who was in the window and hit him like twenty times, yet SOME. HOW. he turns around and shot me. I mean how is that fair? I shot first and he still wins. Yes... I hit him and yet somehow I STILL DIE. WAOW DOOD. What hot garbage.

I’ve been outta the loop a bit. Last I saw it dropped down to 600 but holy shit is it really at 500 now? I guess the big jasper reveal really did fuck him over a bit. But no worries autistic Jeff will come save the day for the gout god with the money he got from killing his wife, err... I mean his insurance money

Nah, it's still at 600 right now, but it will be at 500 by the end of the month (and you may quote me on that). I was just trying to provide a possible outlook on what to expect within the next few weeks.
Pretty sure he's trying to maintain 500 and above because going below 500 would probably hurt his fragile ego. His numbers are already skewed and his fans always fall for that shit.

Here is a controversal opinion: play GTA4 with the music turned on for your Twitch audience and then don't upload the videos to Youtube. Dog forbid you not get your sheckles. Maybe do fundraising to make up the video revenue you would lose.

There are older COD channels that have hundreds of thousands of videos. I think some even hit 1 million videos uploaded.

How much money would DSP even lose by not uploading his videos? If I was super generous and said 750 average views for 50 videos at $1.50/1000 views, that's $56.25. One of his paypigs would gladly tip $60 to keep the music playing.

Edit: DSP is literally mocking the people complaining that the prestream is too long joking that he is going for the record today.

He's fucking talking about how he "lost his [office job] unexpectedly"! He has to rehash his life story on every fucking prestream.

Without looking, it's probably both. His story about Youtube muting his GTA videos is believable because it has happened to people, but I don't care enough to look to see if it actually happened to him.

And again, at this point, if he uploaded 50 videos of GTA4 the next couple months, he might make $40-$60 total.

Edit: DSP just made fun of Keith Urban's name, saying "oh I'm sure his real name is actually Urban."

Actually, it is his real name from what I can see with my Google-Fu, which confirms what others have told me in the past. But of course DSP makes fun of something he literally knows nothing about.
