This is news to me. All I know is that ERod drank the CTC Kool-Aid (Not sure if really Flavor-Aid and Full Jonestown though), but, when Linkara did his audio drama, he and Lewis put over said drama and bashed CA's canceled tenth anniversary special.

ERod took down his endorcement of Venom's documentary (the one where he made the ultimatum of if you give ANY Channel Awesome member support you weren't allowed to give any ex-producer support as well) saying that he was the reason that the other ex-producers were getting further abuse and harassment. She did delete all of her videos with Brad in them, and that a shame because the Movie Night ones with Brad were the only watchable ones for me.

Brad has had falling outs with various people who have appeared in his past videos and to my knowledge, he's never deleted videos of them. I know he took down the video where he talked about his suicide attempt (assumedly for personal reasons), a Lazer Team Midnight Screenings (for unknown reasons) and he's mentioned before some of his old videos didn't survive the "Blip purge" so they may be lost even to him...but I think that's it. Someone like Allison will try to spin those videos of her and Brad still being up as "Brad is making MONEY off my image! He HURT, HURT, HURT me and now he's exploiting me! We hate each other now so leaving those videos up shows his lack of integrity!" The reason why Brad leaves those videos up would confound Allison and people who think like her.

Brad leaves those videos up because he knows there are people who want to watch them. I doubt he likes seeing any reminders of former participants from his videos he can't stand now but he's at least mature enough not to vindictively delete all their appearances in a purposeful middle finger to that person and an unintentional middle finger to his subscribers. Someone like Allison doesn't have the self-awareness to realize what a childish, ego-driven decision it is to delete that stuff.

There was a point where Allison was constantly railing against a channel that had copies of her videos up with subtitles in another language. Now, any reasonable person would recognize this as a great compliment to them that some fan chose to do this for free (the videos weren't monetized, I believe) and would help her expand her audience beyond just people who speak her language. Not Allison though. She bitched and moaned about how many views the videos had since it was lost revenue to her. If these videos are popping up and getting a bunch of views then there's obviously an audience for it. She should have just reached out to the person who did the subtitling with an offer to host the video on her own channel with a credit given to the subtitler and then she could be getting paid for a subtitled video she didn't have to do any work on to subtitle.

I always felt that way about him. That he was just some younger blood that Doug/Rob/Mike allowed on the site to not make it look like everyone was an aging hipster trying to not do a "How do you do fellow kids" as will eventually happen to all of them at one point.

But E-Rod...he was like a dweeby cousin who you know wants to do well but he just didn't have the talent or the discipline to get better. Few of his videos I could watch and even then he always felt like a copy-cat of Doug, Linkara and anyone else who was more talented than him. He just saw what they did decided to do it too and hoped it would work out.

I don't think it was the case for every video, but why not? People have spent their time translating that shit and it's not like those videos had millions of views(because it's Allison, of course), so making a couple of bucks on that is not a big deal. And for that matter, it didn't click in her head, that the reason why people were watching translations is because they didn't know English, so there is no way in Hell they were stealing something from her. Also, I remember one thing about Brad. There was a translated version of The Cinema Snob Movie on YouTube, but instead of flagging the shit out of that channel with sperging on Twitter "they were stealing from me", he just politely asked them to take it down and they did it. Funny thing is, that Linkara was there, sperging about stealing, while he still has this on his fucking website. I'm still amazed to this day how many videos these spergs have lost because their over reliance on Blip.

On one hand, out-of-character writing is a legitimate problem, especially with the anniversary specials where the characterization was basically "whatever Doug fell like at the moment."
On the other hand, if your complaint was "I wasn't super OP!," then you should probably reevaluate your writing skills. And your life in general.

Going off of memory here, but I recall a commentary track for the One Year Anniversary Special, the one filmed in a hotel’s conference room, that featured some of the non-Doug participants in which a few of them voiced mild complaints about how Doug’s writing didn’t really properly reflect their characters or the “lore” they had established at that point. It was silly to hear this considering that none of the CA talent was particularly established in 2009. With ERod, it’s almost tragic. Even among the CA nobodies, he’s a nobody. He’s been making videos for almost a decade and his chief creative achievement is that he gave himself a magic hammer
