I honestly hate how much aging is seen as this horrible thing that everyone is so terrified of these days. People go into hysterics if they notice so much as a stray gray hair or a small wrinkle on their face and I think that’s just pathetic. Way back in the day aging was something to be celebrated, the elders were highly respected members of society and they were considered the go-to people to consult when you had a problem.

I get that it was back in a time when people usually died at the ripe age of like 32 so old people weren’t as common then, and with how we’re advancing at such a rapid pace that elder’s wisdom isn’t as accurate as it used to be, but I still think it’s sad seeing older folks slather their faces in make up and dye their hair every other week.

Right? I'm embracing the gray that has been popping up since I was 24. I'm going to be that guy, but I think much of people's issues with aging stem from popular culture and beauty standards.

It's nice to be sure, but I'm not going to throw an autistic temper tantrum if something I want to watch isn't in glorious 4k or 1080. I see people constantly bitching online (and quite often offline) if the picture quality isn't the absolute best it can possibly be.

US airlines aren't that bad. You get treated like shit because literally the only thing that matters to you when you take your twice-annual flight is whether Airline A is thirty bucks cheaper than Airline B - meaning you don't care about service or quality, solely lowest price. You're not even "WalMart" customers, you're "Secondhand Clothing Store in Detroit" customers in the air that the airline is serving because bringing you along is roughly break-even than just putting sand bags in cargo to balance the plane and then get surprised when you're left flying the equivalent of thrice-owned plus-sized underwear.

I'm not interested in being friends with my co workers. I can be friendly while I'm there, but once my work day is done, I'm done. I don't want to get drinks, or gossip about other co-workers, or get involved with their personal drama. I'm there to do my job and earn money, that's it. I don't really "get" 4K or 8K or 128K in the first place.
Like 1080p is fine to me.
But the cycle of "Now in HD4K Ultra HD!" is beginning anew and I just don't understand.
My normal 1080 monitor and 720 blu rays are just fine thank you.
