SA has already been divided up like 10 times.
Most of the "old" ADTRW moved over to 4 chan
Most of the GBS/CSPAM posters moved over to reddit
Most of the FYAD/YOSPOS posters moved to twitter
Most of the Video Games posters moved to Discord/off site forums
Most of the Let's Players moved to YouTube or the LPZone
Most of the SAMART/C&D folks moved to twitter and other offsite forums
plus a bunch of other people migrated to other places, some even finding themselves here.


The SA forums that exist today is basically already the "fake" one meant to attract woke folks and trannies. Something Awful isn't a website that's going to die in the future, with all of it's large userbase going to leave one day - it's a website that died years ago and most people are already either entirely gone or mostly gone.

Lol, haven't you've been paying attention? Woke are never happy. There is always the next battle, the next injustice, the next crime against humanity that has to be the for front of everything. If any one just stopped and commented that "You know, things are going pretty well right now" the'd get eaten alive but the next mob complaining about x,y, and z.

It is a paradise for them, that's why the wallets come out every time Lowtax can make them afraid that the forum may be taken away from them.

But they also complain as a hobby, so even if they understand they're in a good situation they'll find something to bitch about anyway.

I don't know much about Joe Rogan so I can't say how he presents people on his show, but I do think the idea that putting people up with views like holocaust denial on a public platform and not challenging them is kind of harmful.

If he debates and challenges people's ideas, whatever they are, that's different. Again, don't really know.

That's sort of all he does. He asks tons of questions, even if they make him look stupid, and often challenges stuff that sounds off to him (even if he's ultimately wrong). He sometimes has strong opinions and stances, but he's mostly open to discussion. He's not the smartest guy imo, but he is very curious.

Goons also had a way of treating the forums like they were an exclusive club that kept out the riff-raff, but would then get blindsided any time a grifter would show up and scam goons out of money or get them to sign up for something dodgy. Which seemed to happen a lot.

Ten bucks to scam a ton of gullible idiots out of their hard earned money, because they have a mantra of accepting anyone who joins as their own, as long as they don't break the rules.

Hmm. 🤔
