Watching some of the stream right now, Ty saying Dunfords' tweets scream of someone needing a legal guardian
is too good.:story: Only beaten by Ty's disgust of Dunfords' uselessness.

Having them analyze these tweets on a more longform medium like streaming beats responding on lameass twitter any day,
because there are no orbiters trying to go "ACHTUALLY" and repeat the same disproven statements over and over again.

This is so special
Ty thinks the Twitter Lawyers will disappear

(Link goes to ~3hour timestamp)

Sorry, Ty - that assumes they have any self respect and are capable of feeling shame.
BAD ASSUMPTION, IMHO.

I imagine that should they be disgraced by the results of the court case, the people that looked up to them to reinforce their opinions and expectations in equally developed legal verbiage and J.D. clout would immediately turn on them, and they'd crawl back into their holes pretty quickly.

WW is special in that the present defendants are rather exceptional individuals with equally exceptional attorneys, surrounded by even more comically exceptional characters that'd fit right in an anime for how absurdly their grudges and personality push them to act borderline insane, if not merely extremely childishly. In other words, it's a perfect storm.

Add 'how banking actually works' to the list of shit they don't know. Tellers have to proof out at the end of the day just like any other business.

edit: if I remember correctly, Nick said in a stream he quit the bank after they wanted him to 'sell' shit. He flat out told them he couldn't sell shit to save his own ass.

Proving you right my ass, and it looks like your relative still sort of likes Nick if he defends him by telling the true story.

RetroMG's family member is invited to peruse Kiwifarm's community thread on resetera and see the giant group of mentally deficit assholes who RetroMG associates with. Especially since he's a community 'resettler,' and 'avenger,' indicating some moderating role at resetera, a big redflag in my opinion.
Let him decide if RetroMG is good judge of character and believe his takes on Reikata.

(And Nick should have a some asshole tendencies, he's a lawyer, he's gotta be an asshole sometimes for his clients' rights)

Would it surprise anyone if Pretend Lawyer Mr. Bettik was already making conclusions based on what others say without actually looking into things even outside of the Vic thing?

Somewhat offtopic maybe, but personally, I'm part of the LGBT crowd, and I've seen more discrimination towards straight people from the LGBT crowd than the other way round. People pretend like it doesn't exist, and it's honestly doing the whole acceptance thing a lot more harm than good. Not only that, saying "Straight Pride is a bad thing and shouldn't be allowed" doesn't promote equality. Where is the equality in saying only one group is allowed to celebrate who they are, regardless of what the group is? That's the kind of message Mr. Bettik apparently supports. Equality goes in every direction, not just one.

Wow they just love 2nd and 3rd hand accounts of things. That's another place that will be funny to laugh at if the tcpa doesn't go through.

This seems rather suspect. Guess I'll have to watch the entire back catalogue to see if the story is actually there or if it's just some fever-dream from a "friend".

Given the fact that he recounts a story wherein Nick is almost certainly innocent of what he was presumably fired for given there'd be a way to verify the wrong he did, I'm willing to believe that his family member doesn't work at Nintendo. It's odd, though, that he can't mention the stream where this information was.

If that's the case, then that guy's family member also works at SEGA

It's sad that Ty isn't a regular occurrence on Nick's show.

However, that makes it so worth it. The man is great

These boomer streams with Ty are pure kino. Much, much better than yeterday's shit show. Everyone involved with Comics is just so unlikable that I want both sides to lose.

Generally I don't mind Doug when he is not talking about comics.

Ethan is, a bit on the strange side. I'm worried he might try to kidnap Kelly Marie Tran and hold her prisoner in his basement.

Sounds more like he patronized his REEEEEEEEra nutjob relative by just going "yeah whatever" at his incessant reeeeeing about Nick, just not to have to hear this wacko whine and complain any more.

Yeah, literally any job where you touch currency works like this. Even the most shithole retail jobs I've ever worked still counted down your register at the end of the day. If you get caught stealing or accidentally hand someone too much money because you're not paying attention, they will know. Most places even have cameras set up to the point where they can flat-out determine the amount of money in your hand from multiple angles, which is usually only used to determine if you legit fucked up or if you actually were skimming the take.

Bear in mind this is just ass-end retail. I can't imagine how secure a bank's system would be. Also getting fired for stealing absolutely will stick to your background check.

Considering how some of the big-box stores have cameras right in the tills now, I'd imagine banks have that in the very least

Rare photo of RetroMG's relative being subjected to the soyful badgering of RetroMG and his wife's son's mother:

I like how no matter pissed off Ty and Nick are at LawTwitter and Moronica lawyers, they still would wanna talk to them in person and have a good time

Both Ty and Nick understand that they're just lawyers and that it's their responsibility to fight for their client's interests to the best of their ability. Ty even said on a previous stream that he thought Casey's plan to depose Vic and immediately file for a TCPA was a good one, but that his team saw through it and so it wouldn't work.

Another interesting thing from last night's stream is that Ty mentioned there was a time several years ago where he didn't agree to a request for a time extension from another attorney because he was sick of that attorney and thought they were being a complete ass. So far Ty has been fine with extending deadlines for opposing counsel and it wouldn't surprise me if he'd still agree to it going forward. Ty's probably dealt with far bigger pricks than anyone involved in this case, and it's really only Fuhrer Lemoine that comes across as a major jackass.

They are dickheads, but also realy stupid. Ty gives them enough rope and they will Epstein themself.
