There's no legal requirement to make serving you easy. That's why the court just allows the documents to be attached to your door and consider the person properly served from that point onward. However, just because it won't have any effects as far as the court case is concerned doesn't mean that it can't be used to mock her on Twitter, and she spergs out pretty easily.

Huh. I just thought that Jamie would be reamed for wasting the time of the court and the legal system at large, like Ronica’s discovery games.

She pushed the limit with her constant dodging but she didn’t do anything illegal per say. Though I’m sure her constant dodging then joking about it on Twitter will earn a raised eyebrow from the Judge.

After all, according to her good buddy Ron, they had nothing to hide, right Jamie?

Of course they have nothing to hide.

I mean Jamie herself said that judges lurv her and Chupp will find her (Along with her dumbass antics) highly hilarious which means she won’t face justice for her actions, while Vic will go to jail and everybody will clap in the courtroom.

Autistic Sarcasm aside, I can’t wait for Funi to shitcan her and Monica for this mess they can’t be bothered to deal after this is over~ If a restructure is a-coming (And it certainly will) we can say goodbye to these land whales, who’ll fall into that pit of irrelevance and join good friend Amanda “I hope you get raped” Winn Lee for all the sad cat and wine parties, complaining about the Justice System being patriarchal.

Maybe Kara Edwards will join them, after being exposed as a liar and losing what little fans she has for her pitiful career with only one famous role.

But that’s me being too optimistic, perhaps.

This reminds me of the stream a couple days ago when Ty said that there is still the human element involved in court. Just because what Jamie did was not technically illegal, it does not mean the judge will not be annoyed and let it affect their decision(obviously without any confirmation)

Sam seems like a professional and personable lawyer. He can probably smooth over any annoyance the judge has if that gets raised.

True, but how effective would Sam be if Jamie continues to mouth off during the proceedings? Sam might be a good lawyer (well, as good as a superlawyer can be), but based on her behavior on Twitter, Jamie's gonna need a professional tard wranger to rein her in.

I think there has been a misunderstanding the past few pages.
Pretty sure Marchie has been deposed and her depo just hasn't been released yet.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Because the defendants filed TCPA motions before a deposition for Marchi was arranged, the mandated discovery stay prior to the TCPA hearing has allowed Marchi to not be deposed until after said hearing to begin with. If there was a Marchi depo, we would have seen the Marchi depo in the same way we saw the Rial, Toye, and Vic depos.

The depositions (written, anyways) only become public record when they're included in a filing, however, outside of a bilateral agreement to not release the depos or a gag order, they can be publicly disclosed. That's how we've gotten all of the taken depositions thus far.

Ahh, thank you.
I think I was confusing Monica's depo with Monica's lawyers depo of Vic, which took a little longer to come out.

Todd actually sounds like he loves voicing those videos. I think sometimes he even makes a crack or two at himself or other things. In this particular one he talked about being locked away or some such. I watch them too and I love it when he voices them. On top of being a stud, he adds some comical flare to the voiceovers. Especially the one he did about the gross anime pairings. That was hilarious.
On that one he starts off with "Hello, officer? I'd like to report a crime....of the ICKY variety."

It's almost like they're waiting for something to be decided legally before they nuke his employment on a knee jerk reaction to Twitter crusaders.

Strange how shit tier top 10 YouTube channel has more professionalism than a big name anime dubbing company.
why do you think funi is in a panic? Toei has likely expressed sentiment that they want to renegotiate their license deal and i'm willing to bet Funi is imagining the worst case scenario in regards to that... and the worst part? they can't argue. They do and they risk Toei yanking DBZ wholesale which is their cash cow.... and I'd argue is the only reason they have as much money to throw at a lawyer as they do.
In fact, I'm going to bet money that once the TCPA fails we hear Funi go into settlement and throw moronica and jamie under the bus.... to appease papa Toei.

Ty explained the other night that deposing before TCPA is rare and unusual. TCPA is probably more akin to an initial challenge of jurisdiction, except that it's an assertion of freedom of speech.

What a rational defendant acting in good faith would do is file the TCPA, then request a lift of the stay for limited discovery related to any issues that, for whatever reason, required discovery.

Instead, they engaged in discovery themselves, while putting off the TCPA until they had defaulted in their own discovery obligations, and only filed the TCPA at the eleventh hour after deliberately causing everyone involved to incur huge expenses, the exact opposite of why you file a TCPA in the first place. The TCPA was specifically drafted to save defendants the cost of a legal action over free speech, and most importantly, the cost of discovery.

All of this is the height of bad faith litigation.

I suspect Jamie in person in a courtroom, facing a Judge and not fortified by social media or liquor is a much more cowardly and meek creature.
