I'd agree, except there've been actual "Don't demonize child rapists!" media thinkpieces from Vice, Vox and Slate. That's pushing a lot harder on the overton window. I'd wager a lot of people have known about polyamory for a lot longer and just don't care even if they think it's weird, so there's no real "push" to "normalize" it. Even the "gays only want to form families" argument is a bit shady considering that not all homosexuals or bisexuals want to get married. In fact, considering the high numbers of promiscuity among gay men, I'd say the idea of staying with one man all their life is not what they want. And then, I've read around there is also some numbers about the % of child abuse among homosexual parents, so who knows.

Man, this is one of the saddest threads of this website, look at Desmond's eyes my dudes, look at the sadness, the emptiness and he has a 1000 yard stare just at 11 years old.
