Man that street fighter gameplay was something else, it’s a perfect example of his fragile ego. He plays SF2 for a few games with no hints of issues beyond troll named players showing up

Immediately switches to third strike and gets bodied and suddenly every excuse under the sun comes out...he didn’t shut up once about that Hugo match complaining like a child....fucking embarrassing

When Phil was playing Resident Evil 7 he got a tip from PlanetJeff saying something about his wife passing last summer, and Phil said they spoke about it.
Phil played Resident Evil 7 in 2017, and if PlanetJeff said his wife passed last summer it must have been 2016.
I know this didn't answer your question, but just some lore to keep in mind. I personally believe this, as it seems like a weird thing to make up, but as with all things DSP, everything could be a lie.

lmao, I like his little clap back attempts -- "nobody agrees with you", "it's just you in the corner crying alone". Yeah Dave, that pretty much sums up your existence.

This nigga is trying to act like validation from wheelchair chat actually matters when he's literally made into his safe space. The only people around are paypigs and people watching you as background noise while they talk to each other. You don't see any dissenting opinions because everyone else gets fucking banned.

That's why I love watching him get trolled like he did last night. His gay chat is the only place he'll ever confront anyone because he hold the power and he's able to control the narrative. As soon as that's gone, all he ever does is run away and cry in the corner alone like the projecting pussy he really is.

Two reasons I can think of that he would announce it.

1) It reminds his long-time fans of his old DSP Tries It and/or Cooking with the King days, so it's like he is doing a version of it without actually having to expend the effort of taping it.

2) Because he is unfathomably rigid about his schedule. This man will not go use the restroom unless it is a designated break time. So he literally needs to schedule his sauce stirring into his streaming in advance.

You would think with a normal person stirring a sauce would take 1-2 minutes depending on how far away the room is, but I bet you each break is like 5+ minutes.

I love it when DSP says that "I didn't do anything wrong because if I did then Youtube would have banned me!" and then the very next sentence talking about how Dr. Disrespect and Tevin should be in prison.

I'm not disagreeing with you, i try to avoid checking out to many cows and others, so when making comparisons, as in the first 2, its going to be a bit limited and i make DSP comparisons over at his thread for the same reason.
In the last one i just wanted people opinion on something i found very similare, after all he is known as Black DSP and used to be a DSP fan.

But believe it when i say i am trying to keep it over there!

He's calling it Italian Sauce again? He stopped for a while and just called it "Homemade sauce." Because I think the people poking fun at him about it got to him. Because people used to ask him whats Italian about it when all the sauce is is a generic tomato sauce recipe. Tomatoes, garlic, water, salt, and a fuckton of sugar for some reason. Then people would poke fun of him because in his sauce making videos all the stuff he bought had Italian on it as if that actually made it more Italian. Italian Tomatoes, Italian Garlic, etc. Like you can imagine him at the supermarket with Kat and she picks up a cheap tin of Tomatoes and says "How about this?" and he goes "No! They're not Italian, we can't use ingredients not from Italy in my sauce! We gotta get this more expensive can. See, it has Italian Tomaotes on it, so it MUST be from Italy! Now we gotta find the Italian sugar." So he kinda stopped calling it Italian Sauce for a while.

Also, stopping to season his sauce? Whats he gonna do, dump EVEN MORE salt and sugar into it?

This is what I would consider a 'short clip,' and with that established as a reference frame, my answer to your question is I would let the archive tell the tale while dictating clip length. Using this as an example, if you have more of DSP talking about the same incident just from a different source, you can add that in and probably have a longer clip that's still enjoyable to watch. If you had 100 other DSP clips trying to explain away this incident in addition to this one, you probably would want like five at the most, and obviously the best ones, intercut between each other to really underlie the point. But then you'd likely have a long clip and couldn't group similar themed incidents into anything but another new clip around that length. I think the setup/payoff works well and would get funnier the longer the twisted explanations go and the shorter the time it takes to reveal the actual stream fiasco discussed on DSP tries it: revising history.

My other suggestion is crop out the donate to DSP halo, at the bottom here, wherever applicable in others of these, when possible and necessary to not force multiply his requests for support. Top tipcheers probably are going to be fine to leave in, especially when populated by detractor subtle references, even if it's an ultimately counterproductive way to get those into detractor content at a later date.

I'm laughing my ass off at this. What is the point of even including this in the tweet? He won't be showing the sauce. The sauce has nothing to do with anything. The sauce might as well be Kat.

And besides, he's going to mention it about three times during the pre-stream, he's going to give a 3 minute warning every time before he leaves, then another explanation right as he goes, followed by a final explanation upon his return. This has to be his favorite day. He can take a 5-10 minute break every 45 minutes, so he doesn't have to force himself to sit there and pretend he still enjoys this shit.
