There is nothing wrong with being a NEET. Work is for pathetic weaklings who haven't figured out how to game the welfare system and college is a waste of time that bitch niggas engage in to feel good about themselves. Prove me wrong.
 
This is a pretty Chad take tbh. Although I'd argue self employment offers more income opportunity thus giving you access to more freedom, potentially.

That's like saying "I can't prove pouring hot wax on your genitals is bad because you don't understand the satisfaction of having hot wax poured on your genitals". It should be obvious why there's no satisfaction in "doing good work" or pouring hot wax on your genitals because only wierdos like either of those things.
 
I'll give you college these days being pretty much worthless, but I'd rather have pride knowing everything I have, I earned myself rather than sponging off the work of others without contributing a thing. Being a lazy thirty-something still lounging at my parent's house doing nothing but watching anime and playing vidya would send me into a deep depression knowing I'm wasting my life and being a burden on others. I guess that's the difference between being a NEET and being a functioning adult, having a sense of pride and morality.
 
College is indeed a waste of time. Learning a trade and honing and perfecting it and bending it to making a living and finding a place in the world is satisfying in ways words can't express

That's my serious answer. Seeing who authored the OP though I'll just say NEETbux are for lazy unwashed fags and see myself out.

Personally I think true NEETs (losers who never do anything and just play vidya and watch TV) are pathetic. I work on games and do projects to stay sane. You have to keep learning after school as well, or you can kickstart dementia and your brain can atrophy

Exactly this but unironically.

Doing that means my cats stay fed and healthy and safe and I have what I need to pursue the things I care about. I was never going to love what I did for a living because what I want to do I'm not right for. I got good with that years ago. Don't give a single shit about work misery because being out of work is infinitely worse. I was unemployed for two years following the last recession and I say with no equivocation that the depression which accompanied it is something that I wouldn't wish on any other person.

Being a NEET sucks balls like nothing else. Everybody showers shit on you like nothing else, your family hates you, you can't make friends and you only ever have welfare food. At least waging it with a chill job and renting from family can net you some self respect, decent food to cook for yourself and enough spare cash to enjoy yourself. Especially since you won't be stuck in a hole of filth and denigration for eternity.
