Remember that gross and disturbing shower video he did for Papa Lou last year? He did some sort of DSP Tries It on that Selsun Blue shampoo.
Not too long ago, someone asked him if he's still using it; Phil replied "I haven't used that Selsun Blue ever since. It's still in my bathroom, and practically sitting there unused."

So much for his use of shampoo. You might be onto something with the assumption that he's never cleaning his scalp/hair.

I think he only wore his boxers and shirt before too, but I could be wrong could've been his streamer girl booty shorts.
But it's like you said, he simply rolls out of bed, doesn't wear slippers / shoes / socks and is just barefoot, doesn't wash before streaming or shave to somewhat not look like a bum.
The only stream I know he put effort in to look like a normal guy is his debunk stream, where he took a shower and washed his hair before stream.
Guy is such a bum, he would die if he had to keep a 9 to 5, and take showers and shave daily.

In the sauce making episode after Kathy moved-in Phil revealed that every half-hour when he goes to stir the sauce during the 3+ hours of simmering he also tastes the sauce and adds more garlic salt until it tastes "right", so you got it half right, he dumps even more salt into it

He has confirmed that he just wets it every morning when he gets up. He has been asked that multiple times, whether he uses gel or wax or whatever. He just says water.

The whole shtick he has about having to get up, spend countless hours preparing himself to stream and having a solid breakfast to keep him up is a complete pile of dogshit.
He gets up, rolls out of bed still hungover, wets his hair and possibly washes his face (not confirmed) and waddles to his game-room in his pajamas, just like you said, and sits down to complain about being so incredibly busy.

He says he spends 12 hours a day on his off day "running errands". I want to know what the fuck takes 12 hours every single fucking week? I can't walk in a mall for longer than 2 hours, maybe 1 hour food shopping.... he's not buying clothes every week... I just don't get it.

I’m pretty sure he just tweets that when he goes to bed on his days off, or atleast when he’s sitting in bed reading Twitter. Gives the illusion that he’s doing stuff all day on his day off
