Yeah, I don't know one person who devotes an entire day to shopping every single week. Phil is neither that wealthy nor that adventurous. If he's been dragging Kat along with him to the same stores (in what is likely the same order) to look at the same crap, week over week for months I'm not sure if I'd be gobsmacked or completely nonplussed because it's simultaneously shockingly autistic and yet also something right out of his playbook.

I wonder if his schedule is so rigorous to the point its like. 10 minutes in this store, 20 minutes in this store, half an hour eating, 20 minutes in another store, 1 hour in the arcade. He did let slip they've gone on day trips to Seattle which we already knew from the Space Needle pics. Knowing Phil it's probably a strictly scheduled once a month chore vs a spontaneous getaway. Imagine that though, driving to a city 45 minutes away then driving home on the same day instead of getting an overpriced hotel room.

He needs them to play chauffeur for him (his severely-horribly-terribly bad back, and all) so he can watch his daughter/soul-maid load up the cart with stuff he says they need to get, have them be the one to directly interact with the cashiers and other staff, and then have them unload the car. The only things he contributes is the actual money, snorts, and back-seat road-rage when they JUST miss a light because some nudnik wouldn't romp on the gas.

With his back being as debilitating as it is, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he has a crippled kid placard to get front row parking.

I hate to be an off topic dick head but there's a youtuber I watch that recently put out a video comparing all the forms of garlic. Freshly chopped, paste, garlic salt, jarred & minced garlic, and pre-peeled (in a jar). Made garlic bread with each kind and had a blind taste test. Spoiler alert: freshly chopped came out on top.

As for Piggy's garlic salt? Well, it doesn't quite make the cut. Skip to 5:54. Should be time stamped.

Arturo Sanchez (nycfurby) is active on Twitch and used to openly be friendly with Phil until Phil turned up as a mod in his chat during a MvC Infinite tournament and started antagonizing viewers.
Tevin has also stated that he watched Phil during the sf4 days.
Larry Bundy, TotalBiscuit and Yhatzee have all referenced Phil in some capacity, usually mocking. I wouldn't say they are/were fans, but they're pretty aware of him.
I think Phil insinuated that AVGN at least knew of him back when Phil actually went to cons, but as far as I know, he has never referenced Phil.

Any other recognizable/non-detractor YT name I can think of have approached Phil with neutral curiosity or mocked him.

I'm sure that there's a large number of people who do or have done youtube/twitch stuff that are generally aware of DSP, but they look at him as more "This is how you DON'T youtube/stream" and try not to acknowledge him otherwise.

This is completely true. During one of his Mario 64 streams he was complaining about needing the bathroom but instead of going to the bathroom he just kept looking at the time, until scheduled break time could happen. So he just kept complaining about needing to pee rather than go pee and come back. Then when scheduled break time happened (on the dot of course, if he went a minute over he'd start to panic) BAM, off to the bathroom.

This has to be a youtube 'archieve' recording thing where it's easier not to have to cut anything but segments or whatever it ends up on the channel he'll post to during the break. Answer nature's call and have a dead air break that you need to remove or tough it out the whatever minutes to go and save that post editing time? Not a great long term plan but Phil's going to not be full time streaming anymore soon so it'll sort itself out just fine, I'm sure...

Right, similar here in America, but its usually Saturday/Sunday and it's mostly just groceries. That's two hours, maybe, if you're going to more than one store (grocery and Costco for bulk items, for example). I'm assuming your average Britbong isn't getting groceries, new electronics, clothes, shoes, etc., etc. Not an entire day. Where are they going for the other ten hours Phil claims they're out?
